This addon is broken as of TB 52.0.1. I like it but it broke the Reply To:/cc fields. Otherwise, I liked it very much.

Not compatible with most recent versions, but 52 just killed it for me.... it was causing TB to stop populating any of the reply/cc fields. Last update looks to be from Sept, 2015. Used to love it, and would love to bump rating back up.

Thank you for this add-on, it's great and very useful.
Everything working fine, until working with local address book. In my scenario i have to use remote address book connected with CardDAV add-on named "CardBook" - https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/thunderbird/addon/cardbook/ .
That add-on is not extend bilded-in address book, but provides another one. After it being synced, no photos shows with Display Contact Photo add-on.
Is it possible to extent functionality to support CardBook plugin?

Hi
are you interested in supporting CardBook contacts (https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/thunderbird/addon/cardbook/) ?... if yes you'll find my email on my addon page...

Display Contact Photo was one of TB's most attractive GUI improvements. Sadly, the developer has failed to keep pace with changes to TB, so the add-on doesn't work anymore. A shame.

Dear Colleagues,
Please fix Display Contact Photo to show photos of contacts when displaying a message. It had worked well before I updated thunder bird to 45.0 version.
Thanks in advance,
Max

But doesn't show any picture when I'm reading messages. Only when I'm writing. However I'm searching for a mod that shows the contact image in the list of messages, when I'm reading and writing one.

Thanks for this add-on; I find it useful. Might I echo a previous suggestion that it would be good to display the contact image when a match was found in the "additional email" field?

Looks great so far. I wish that it would show the other person all the time. In the compose window, I don't need to see my own photo - I know me. On messages I sent, I don't need to see my own photo - I know me.

No big deal, as I'm probably the only person using this build, but it doesn't work anymore in 43.0a1.

Features: See from an instant who is writing, pull carddav images from remote addressbooks.
Suggestion: Would it be possible to also display the contact image when a match is found in the "additional email" field?

This extension breaks the inputs (from, to, and subject) when writing a message. Disabling this fixed the issue.

Displays only a grey field where a picture should be and
suppresses the display of pictures in the address-book too.
Means: install that and you won't see any contact photos at all.

I'm using it with gravatar - monsterid option enabled and it is damn funny to see your boss or colleague as monster :D :D :D
I only want an option to see the photo in the email listing in order easily to identify the sender visually :)
