Why addon for FF and TB block windows of FF and TB when I'm working on my comp, but not in FF or TB? I think timer of not activity works wrong - it counts time for not activity of FF or TB, but in right logic it must count time of not activity of all comp - starts on last click of mouse or last key press on keyboard

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.21.3.1-signed).

There is a checkbox "Only if inactive" in "Auto-logout" and "Lock" section of the settings.

Next time please use support website or email to submit bug reports, not review.
Thank you.

Any chance you can integrate this with "Secure Login" addon. I wish the SL had an open to open this addon.

It shuld work when addon "minimize to tray" is installed

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.21.2.1-signed).

It would work if the "minimize to tray" addon worked properly. MinTrayR doesn't give any information when a window minimized to tray or restored, in fact there is no way even trace it at all.
I've already contacted the developer and he seemed to started working on that problem, but it didn't last long...

I have been using this plugin for more over a month now, I was satisfied with tis functionality, but today, I changed my master password, that I generated and saved into my pass manager. Unfortunately, I forgot to save my pass so I couldn't access my Thunderbird. All advices on the web was via error console tu reset the pass, but console is accessable only inside of unlocked Thunderbird.
So an idea came up to my mind and I found the extension files in my appdata folder, where I easily changed one file's path and no popup for password appeared afterwards > I reset my pass via error console.

This add-on come to correct bad behavior of Firefox's master password manager. It gives you the possibility to customize it's use accordingly to your own needs.

I noticed that the author does not update the project since more than 1 year yet. I don't expect he will give continuation to it anymore...
It would be very nice, if this project could be forked, and at least the minor issues corrected.

A complaint to Firefox Project Management/Development:
Unfortunately, now-a-days product managers don't care about user needs nor to compatibility with prior versions, they must go for trends.
Developers must rush to build new versions, new features, a bunch of new crap, and aren't able to keep track of backwards compatibility.
Even the hard work of their colleagues, which give their time to build nice add-ons like this one, even this get's disregarded, and as a consequence, add-on functionality turn to be broken.
As a result, add-ons developers can't keep pace with Firefox's "high frequency" versioning, and stop production.

Who is losing in this process?
We, the users, exactly the target public, gets neglected, and loses in this process.

With younger siblings this is just what I need to keep them from messing with any of my work. The timeout lock and lock-on-minimize are really helpful.

Using this with an alternate password 'vault' have become my default add-ons for new computers.

Great feature to have, it should be implemented in Firefox by default. Thanks !

I used to love this addon. But is there still no fix for the password prompt problem? :( Used to have FF closed when a wrong password was entered, which is now not working any longer. Please find the problem and fix it ASAP.

I love simplicity. I must have over tens of passwords on over hundreds of login forms, and this add-on clears it all for me. Just one password and the others are automatically filled.

Works quite nicely. Though the popup window aksing for the master password does appear for an instance each and every single time you visit a website where you've saved a password. Only 4/5 because of this issue

Unless you set timeout to a very short time, this should not happen.
If you feel it's a bug, please submit it with more details on how to reproduce it at the support site or via email.

it covers all my requirements.
I have one problem/bug. When I start Firefox with 'Ask for password at start up', the prompt window never gets the focus. Even if it's the only one.!
