I had been using the Sage feed reader but that just seemed a little 'messy' to use. Bamboo Feed Reader is much more like I want for keeping up with RSS feeds. The interface is clean and well presented although not as intuitive it could be. While it may be documented somehwere ont web, I had to 'play' to learn how to remove a single feed. The only addition I would like to see is the option to use it as a sidebar rather than a tab or popup. I'm using it as a tab in the meantime.
Overall - a fantastic feed reader.

Merci de me contacter à bamboo.feedreader[ at ]gmail.com
(il y a un problème connu avec les flux des pages youtube)

...needs a bit of tidying up. For example, when you Add a feed the URL of the last feed is still there. And you can't complete the Add process by keys, which is a drag when setting up a load of feeds in a batch. Which seem like really easy things to sort out.
And why is the button blue but the icon green? Given that both use a generic RSS symbol, not linking them by colour seems perverse.
(Not as enchanted as I was at first.)
ok the text box for feed URL will be emptied when adding the feed. (really small defect)
if you have a lot of feeds you should use an OPML file.
The green icon (Bamboo extension icon) is only present in the address bar.
All other feed icons are blue or orange for unread items.

if I had to choose my favorite add-on, i´ll opt for Bamboo Feed Reader (BFR), which is a feed reader that allows you to manage and administer all sources of information via RSS, a comfortable and accessible interface, a blocker for ads, automatic update, search of more feeds via google and availability in several languages and colors, BFR promptly informs me of what happens in the world in a nice and easy way in a convenient taskbar icon.

Read error: XML parse error.: newItemNode.getElementsByTagName("content")[0] is undefined (http://feed.######.Org/atom/u/l/59/16438159.atom)
часто выдаёт ошибки которых нет в других ридерах..

This is a great reader i do have some minor issues with it though they are as follows:
When using popup setting pressing the button once brings it up but pressing it again doesn't close it.
Should be able to adjust the width (in the settings menu) for the sidebar and content. As there is a lot of free space and it can be massive when using Firefox in windowed mode.
Also the mouse-over tooltip on feeds(content and list view) is quite far away from where your mouse looks a bit odd.

This addon keeps getting better and better. Highly recommended to everyone.
There is still a room for improvement. Third panel for example (something like Newsfox) and correction of some display bugs.
Five stars.

it's realy a great app.
May there's one thing to improve.
Why not offering an additional pane for the link content instead opening a new tab/browser?
That would be the same as the vertical 3 coloum view for emails.
thx

I must admit that this addon looks very promising however it is bit annoying when I add a new feed via Firefox (bookmark) and then had to manually import/update new feeds in Bamboo addon... think about some improvement and put an option to automatically add new feeds if You added new live bookmark with ff ....
Keep on working .

1st impression - excellent. Because:
- resides among icons on toolbar, not consume vertical space;
- fast opens on click in new tab;

Sorry, clarification.. the NO option for opening article in the background is on OSX by mouse (no middle click). Suggest a selectable option in the preferences window?

This add does what it is supposed to do and adds some nice options for bonus points. The flexibility makes it great for both home and work. I like the that you can:
- add the rss page your browsing without typing a url
- you can view feeds in tab or pop up window
- you can change font sizes and skins
- you can set the intervals between refresh cycles
- when you hover over a feed, it shows the content in a pop up box
- feeds that have already been read have a different color than unread ones
- you can elect to show only the unread feeds
Along with favorite-ing a subscription it would be great to favorite a single feed within that subscription, so that one could view each of those. This is more than an effort. It is really good. Kudos.

There doesn't appear to be a way to delete individual items without having to delete the entire subscription.
