Blog Better! - Writing Helper by Zemanta
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
EDITED REVIEW: This one WAS a true 5 star blockbuster until it stopped working for Thunderbird. For someone like me who does serious blogging and does extensive forum participation it is shocking to have that wealth of information handy in those situation! The quality and the ease of the information is truly sensational! I put this one in my "Apollo! Pack" collection but I would like to really sing it's praises when it works for TB again.

I ultimately had to uninstall it because it clashed with "Resurrect Pages" but it still did give some good laughs. The only problem was I installed it on more than one computer and when my 70 something mom saw some "f-bombs" on her screen that didn't go over so well... Other than that though I really liked it.

I uninstalled it because I just didn't use it that much and when I would open it within seconds I was back on a tab anyways. For previews I found "Tab Scope" to be less obtrusive. Having said all that- I still liked the idea and the visuals so I still have to give it a good rating- even though it just wasn't for me.

I tested it out for a while and I found it to work well. After installing it I did notice a bunch of redirect errors but I think it is a small price to pay for the extra privacy. I heartily recommend it and I put it in my Apollo! Pack collection.

Although I finally uninstalled it and it wasn't for me I still feel that it is worth at least a 4 star rating. I like to put both my folders and and the bookmarks in them sorted more by functions and categories than in order. For my toolbars I find it is an absolute must to lump them together by function( as I have tons of them!) so I put all the security ones together, the bookmarks one in a big group, the picture/graphics ones in another...
I think that a feature that wold rock would be a way to custom reorder the status bar one by one. For the toolbars it is easy to just customize and start dragging and dropping. I know of no such function or tool for the statusbar. Organize Status Bar is good for toggling the icons( which quickly get overloaded(likely to the point in which many get squeezed out!) and I wish that all add-on makers would allow us to choose if they go in the toolbars and/or statusbar) on and off but it does not allow for reordering them unfortunately.
Anyways, despite ultimately uninstalling it- it did work as advertised and some people may have different needs than I do so I still had to give it a decent rating.

This AWFUL add-on gets snuck on during the guise of a "security" update! Are we all piling on Microsoft? Hell yes- and these are the kinds of reasons why! What is worse is when you go to uninstall it- it pretends to uninstall but then when you restart it is still there and the uninstall option is greyed out! PURE EVIL!
Fortunately, there still is a way to get rid of this son of a bishop! For the complete procedure go here:

Forgive me if this double posts as my connection tonight is really cranky. I put this one in my "Apollo! Pack" collection and after playing with it for a while I consider it a MUST have! The only slight issue I have found is things like this combined with other security add-ons like NoScript Cookie Whitelist, Ghostery... will trip up rookies who are used to surfing in ignorant bliss. Some of them will panic when pages don't load or appear to function fully. I am working on putting up a help page or two to explain just what the heck some of these things are and why a newbie WANTS to be bothered with toggling these things.
I read and agree with the past reviews of this one and I also agree that when you get rid of all the junk scripts, requests, ads... it speeds up pages since they aren't having to connect to and load all the junk! The bottom line is this one is a true 5 star rating!

I had used other similar ones but this one is the best. The ability to have that kind of information right there in front of us ROCKS! I put it in my "Apollo! Pack!" collection and I am recommending it!

Perhaps one of my greatest pet peeves is when you log into social networking sites such as "Myface" or Spacebook" and you get blasted with a bunch of annoying music! The pages tend to already be overloaded with sickening graphics and the music is just one more annoyance and for people on old and slow computers with weak connections it makes viewing such sites nearly impossible
! Just the other day I wanted to to look at a profile and- as so many of us do- I wanted to cut straight to the pictures to see if I was wasting my time. This one even saved me from having to hear that stupid Douching song for the 1000000000000000000th time! That alone is worth 5 stars in my book! I put it in my "Apollo! Pack!" collection and I am recommending it!

I agree! What is wrong with sexuality? I also agree with Nerd42 and it should be merged into the "Add-on Collector" because without it there is a bit of confusion on batch uploads. I started the "Apollo! Pack!" collection to help people out and I am recommending it since it allows for mass uploads!
