No matter how many updates I download, I still cannot enter my Leumi account with Mozilla. Gotta go back to Explorer. Pity

Version 1.1 exports empty 0KB csv and xml files. Seems plenty of people have this problem but according to http://code.google.com/p/passwordexporter/issues/list it's only 'medium' priority so it could be a while before it's fixed. Version 1.06 works fine but then FF wants to upgrade it all the time. I will be uninstalling until fixed.

I would love this to work, but I get 0 KB files for both CSV and XML exports. Any ideas, Justin? Seems like a common problem. Using version 2.0.0.14

recently a fault arose with new FireFox add-ons and had to reinstall. Just before I did this, I exported my email passwords and installed Password Exporter onto my other computer. Good thing I did as right after this FF froze.
Started FireFox up and loaded password page sites and with Password Exporter I didn't have to jog my forgetful brain for passwords.
P.E. has been a lifesaver for me and I'm sure it will be for you too.

Nice, but when importing passwords program does not track records in duplication

1) some characters are replaced with something else once you export the passwords. for example & is replaced with %26

2) after changing my Gmail password through WebMail Notifier, all the passwords got wiped out!!! (thank god I made an export before that happened)

It is a very dangerous and useful extension.

this should be built-in to Firefox and make it less buggy.

I've used it for years, and it's always done what it's primarily designed to do: export passwords from one instance of Firefox and import them to the same (backup) or different (migration) instance of Firefox.

Password Exporter does not work in my Win2k PC, (Framework 2.0.50727 has been installed for that). The generatet files have 0 bytes. But: In my Vista Notebook files with FF Passwords are generated, .xml and .csv. Unfortunately my Password Save KeePass cannot import them. I could fix the problem this way:
Open the password.csv file with OpenOffice scalc.exe; modify the table and store like the KeePass Help specifies. (! Every field of the fist row "Account" must be filled out!)

I was lucky it failed for me the very first time. Instead of lworking at first and fooling me into trusting it, so it could screw me later.\r\n

Does this thing work?...
There is no "drop-down" box or any kind of "notification"...when saving login info on a website (beside the typical FireFox "remember" option)
So how is anyone going too know if this gadget is working at all~?!

This is probably one of the best add ons ever made. I work on a lot of customers computers and I by default install Firefox on to all computers. Now this allows me to be able to move their passwords from one computer to the next.
