The developer obviously doesn't check that the add-on he directs us to has now been REMOVED by it's developer.

hard to believe it is being listed on the "up and coming" list

search for "menu wizard" instead

The other Menu editor seem gone. This one still works with Firefox 37, but the main context menu lost the forward/backward/reload -Icons, after I edited it. I don't need these, just FYI.

I wanted to rearrange just a few items.
One item was to swap the current arrangement FF 6.0.2
File
New Tab
New Window
Change this to the following

New Window
New Tab

I change these items so they were the way I wanted then "Applied" the change. It made the change but only in the current window, if I opened another window it which back to the default setting. Now if I shut down FF and then restaretd it the menu's were reset to the default order.

I tried this change a few times but each time it reset to the default order.
So I can not really recommend it.

The thing that the set item is initialized by reactivation was confirmed in Thunderbird/5.0.

I recently discovered Menu Editor (the extension this one is based on), an incredibly useful addon as my right click context menu had become bloated by my other addons. However there was a conflict with "Quick Search Bar", so I came across Menu Editor II while searching for an alternative. After checking out the original extension's forum, I understand that the developers have very little time to fix bugs and resolve conflicts lots of people seem to have with various addons. The Menu Editor had gone for nearly 3 years without an update until recent FF4 compatible version. And there seems to be no indication that it will be updated any time soon.I just hope the developer of Menu Editor II picks up the project again. This addon, as is the original, is a must have, however conflicts with other favorite addons make it impossible to enjoy it.
In the mean time, I will hide undesired context menu items with custom user scripts.

Just installed this to take care of a problem I've been having with the tab context menu and the original Menu Editor (which I otherwise love). Menu Editor II worked like a charm for me.

It works fine with FF 3.5.16.

This is the same as Menu Editor, if not worse.

The original Menu Editor is more up-to-date. This one is outdated.

Installing this on top of Menu Editor will bring back all your hidden menu items, by restoring to default. This can be fixed by removing Menu Editor II.

Strongly not recommended extension. Stick to the original!

Same problem of Niraj, but I can live with it because I use the searchbar for these things. It seems that the incompatibilities with dTa and Flashgot are fixed, and that's great.
I miss the ability to create custom folders in the context menu, so to place the items of the menubar in the context menu.
I hope the dev can tell us what are the future plans for this extension, meanwhile kudos.
