Even the grey bar has gone now.

You only have to make two small modifications, because Thunderbird thinks it is not compatible any more.

Rename {2af6ce1e-fbf7-11db-8314-0800200c9a66}.xpi to {2af6ce1e-fbf7-11db-8314-0800200c9a66}.xpi.zip
Open it and open the file install.rdf with a text editor.
In this line: <em:maxVersion>6.*</em:maxVersion> change 6.* to 99.*
Save the changes and replace the old install.rdf in the zip-file.
Change the name of .zip back to .xpi
Put the changed .xpi in the folder %APPDATA%\Thunderbird\Profiles\default.YOUR-PROFILE\extensions

Go to Tools -> Options, select the Advanced panel, select the General tab, and click Config Editor. Click "I'll be careful, I promise!" to proceed.
Change "mail.tabs.drawInTitlebar" to false.

This is the best TB theme but unfortunately it's not compatible with TB 24. Is there a way to make it working on the last version of Thunderbird?

After another update of TB with another "not compatible" warning, it was time to leave this theme. It was great, but without support it's just a pain...

I moved to the xpDefault theme and I really like it. No more worries if TB will be updated!

Btw: xpDefault doesn't have the problem with the large grey space under the title bar, wasting space.

I just recommend xpDefault to every User of 'Classic Reloaded'. RIP.

I moved to the xpDefault theme and am loving it. It's much like this theme except it's updated and works with TB 17.

This was my perfect theme for TB. Unfortunately, it has been broken since the release of TB 15 (when the tabs started to have problems) and it was further broken by TB 17 (when a large grey space started appearing under the title bar). It became clear that that this theme is now an orphan, and will have no further updates. I therefore moved to Classic TB2, but that stopped being updated in May 2012. It is broken in TB17 in the same way as Classic Reloaded. The closest working theme that I have found is xpDefault, which is regularly updated. I would recommend it to anyone who used to use either Classic Reloaded or Classic TB2.

By far one of the best themes for TB, for people who can't make it works, just modify the install.rdf file and change to ver 17.*, if you don't know how to do it, google it.The fix von Mira.S am sugested was perrrfect, I also had this issue and now works as a charm.

Thanks to Oosterhagen and his review on Classic TB2, same problem same solving.
In TB17 setting "mail.tabs.drawInTitlebar" to "false" works also in Classic Reloaded 1.5.2 though now there's an extra grey line under the systembar.

Love this add on and have been using it for a while. When Thunderbird updated to V12 this add on no longer worked. Hope the dev updates this but for now I basically forced thunderbird to accept the add on. Works like a charm with v12 with just one little trick.found here:

It is a Boolean and the value is False

Doesn't work with Thunderbird 12, please update! It was amazing and made Thunderbird useable. Now I'm stuck and having to consider a new email client :-(

As this add-on is not available for TB 12 since many days and there is no response to e-mails I took Phoenity Shredder 3.5. Its rather similar to classic reloaded and it works!

I am sorry to have paid for the theme.

The default theme is pretty ugly with some UI worst practices. This makes Thunderbird usable again!

Hi!
I love the theme, but I just found out that this add-on is the source of my problem.

The third column in my three-column-view is not showing properly. the horizontal scroll bar is missing and text is just continuing to the east.

Is there anyway you could post the version with the star instead of the flag ?
I try to do it myself but all the time the file is corrupt :(

Neat, colourful, simple and clear. Thanks a lot. However, sometimes the 'reply' icon becomes a line instead of icon/button.
