Version 0.3.1 works fine under Thunderbird 45.x.
I tried to contact you for sending my Italian translation of your app. I made it to provide myself and people of my department but your address in Mozilla addons is not a "private" one, so I don't know how to contact you...
Anyway it is very useful for me because of I need to handle many recipient lists!

Contact Tabs

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is not a review. I just want to stress the fact that in the "Developer's comment" the author states: "Please do not use the reviews as a way to notify me of bugs as it does not give me a way to get back to you".
So, as I am the translator into Italian of this addon, I wrote here a note some days ago concerning the problem of ContactTabs with TB 45.0. Then I wrote to the author (Janek Schwartz) who reply to me: "...It works in TB 45b04 but doesn't in TB45. Oh, how I love this!" I sent him the console errors I found and I suppose he is going to update this very useful addon as soon as he has a bit of time.

After the upgrade to TB 45.0 iit seems not to work anymore, at least inmy hands. I'm using Windows 10 Pro 64 build 1511 and until yesterday when I was using TB 38.7 it was ok.

Tutto ok annche con la versione 45.0 eccetto che per il fatto che l'icona e la scritta "Scrivi PEC" nella barra dei messaggi non può venire spostata o tolta.

gContactSync

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I use this addon to syncronize my 6 device (3 with Android using Google contacts) and 3 with Windows 7 (work and home desktop and notebook) using Mozilla TB.
Besides I suggested this app also to my wife who has 2 Android devices with Google contacts and her notebook running TB.
No problem at all with text fields of the contacts. I had only occasional problems with some photos of the contacts which disappear or duplicate in the local (TB) database.
Please note that I also use among the other extensions (more then 20) MoreFunctionForAddressbook and I have a contact list of 410 persons on my Google account on GMail.
A last note: I have no mailing list on my GMail contact list.

Calendar Tweaks

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have been using CT for a long time with satisfaction and I'm also its Italian translator.
Like the previous reviewer I also noticed that this addon was broken by TB 31.0 In particular I have 6 calendars (all of them being on Google) and I saw some events were skipped in the Today Panel. At the moment I noticed this on a calendar made only of annual recurring events (birthdays), Some of them were reported, others not.
By deactivatng Calendar Tweaks everything went back ok. I suppose the oroblem could be due to a different manageing of colors which caauses something to disappear, The same happened with the addons ContactTabs which was immediately updated by its author,

AddressBookTab

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

IMHO the idea of this extension is very good and should be part of standard TB features. Anyway, IMHO this extension has some faults which should be corrected. In fact I tried to install AddressBookTab (ABT) more than once using it with different versions of TB but the basic problems I found are always the same. In particular, in this moment I'm using version 1.5 of ABT with TB for Windows 24.1.0. FYI, I also installed other extensions, the more relevant from this point of view being "MoreFunctionsForAddressbook" and "ContactTabs". But even if I disable these extensions I still have the following problem. That is, if I click on the ABT icon nearby to the Lightning's ones, the AB which appears in the tab is always the first one of the list, ie the Personal Addressbook (PAB).
Beside, if I click again (after having activated the option to have more than one addressbook in tabs) it always open tabs with duplicates of the PAB. I need to change manually the tabs with other addressbooks. The worst thing however is that if I close TB, next time I open it, yes I have multple tabs but all of them are pointing to the PAB yet, ie ABT does not save my choices between TB session!
What I suggest is to have the icon of ABT with a dropdown menu reporting all the addressbooks (for example I have 6 of them besides the default ones - ie PAB & Collected addresses) with check marks, so one can choose that/those addressbook(s) (s)he wants to have in tabs. Besides, this choiche should be remembered between TB sessions.
Thanks for the attention.

Mail Redirect

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I have this extension installed since ever ;-)
But I was never successfull with redirect of messages to lists and unfortunately I have many of them being sysadmin :-(.
I followed the suggestion of the developer a couple of post below to put the name of the list in between <> but in my hands it doesn't work. A message of error appears.
BTW today an update to mail reedirect version 7.7 was installed automatically on my computer (with icons fitting the TB standard theme). The test reported above was done also with this last version whichi is not present neither here nor in the usual developer page.
Wher is located now? TIA

MS Office 2003 JB Edition

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I do not have an account at imageshack.
Anyway I put 2 images at:
http://fog.bio.unipd.it/pub/MSOffice2003JB
(the address IS case sensitive).
The first one shows MSOffice2003JB theme running in a TB 15.0.1 (Windows 7 Pro x64 with Compact Header 2.0.6.
As you can see the +/- area on the left to expand/reduce the number of header lines does not apper. It appears only as a little orange square but ONLY if you move the mouse and look for it. Otherwise that area is completly azure. This way you also have some difficulties to see the label "From:" "Subject:" etc... which appear in a blu hue which is only slightly different from the azure background.

The second image shows how the compact header appears in the original theme.

MS Office 2003 JB Edition

I like it very much. Unfortunately it is not completely compatible with 2 extensions I use: CompactHeader & ContactTabs.
In both cases the color of theme hides some selection points or strings. No idea if the problem is the theme or extensions.
If the developer wants, I can send him a couple of screenshots.

Ignore Aero

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It is quite good. Unfortunately it doesn't support any 'old' Lightning icon. So when you are in the "Mail" tab you have the good old icons, while moving to "Calendar" tab you have the new standard (native) theme icons.

Now you can download the version 1.2pre (which is TB 8.x compatible) from the developer site:
http://extensions.sanjer.nl/index.php?page=tb_cs_prerelease
Please note that the site menu still reports Version 1.1pre.

I confirm what reporteed from "I_am_a_Landstander", ie by using 1.3.0 beta3 I cannot open mail with attachments. I had to go back to 1.2.4.

I don't know how to contact the author, so I write here. My question is: do you plan to localize this add-on? If so, I can candidate for the Italian localization.

AddressBookTab

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very useful and fine! It should be part of the standard TB distribution!
I use TB 3.1.2 with the predefined or the "own 2.4.1" theme and many different extensions being relevant - I suppose - "More functions for addressbook".
In this condition I noted two little problems:
1. If I pass the mouse over the "AddressbookTab" button, I don't see any label for it at difference of the Calendar and Task buttons;
2. I have more than one addressbook. If I want to have the addressbook "x" in a tab I can choose it from the list of my AB and I can add it to the tabs.
However if I close TB prg and then I reopen it, the AddressbookTab always substitutes it with the "Personal Addressbook". Moreover, if I open more than one addressbook in different tabs, when I reopen the program, it leaves only the Personal Addressbook open in a tab..

Attachment Sizes

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I will repeat here what I said about the [de] 'replacement' of the original F. DiLecce version, you can get at:
http://fux.zuhage.de/attachment_sizes/
I found a bug in both these 'new versions' which I don't know if it is also present in the original DiLecce extension.
If you drag and drop an attachment from desktop or from any folder inside Thunderbird message to be sent everything is ok: the size appears; BUT if you try to drag and drop an attachment from another email message (sent or received) then NO SIZE appears near to the attachment filename.

Attachment Sizes

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I have to post here because at:
http://fux.zuhage.de/attachment_sizes/
there is no way to contact Alexander Ihrig who seems (I don't understand German well) to have made this extension compatible with TB 3.x.
Tis is to say that I found a bug in the 0.0.9 version. That is: if you drag and drop an attachment from desktop or from any folder inside Thunderbird message to be sent everything is ok, BUT if you try to drag and drop an attachment from an already sent mail or from a rceeived mail to a new message, then you will succeed but NO SIZE size appears near to the attachment file name.

It is a must. However for those, like myself, asking the TB 3.x compatibility, see:
http://jpeters.no-ip.com/extensions/?page=tb_cs
In short, we have to wait at least Jan, 2010 :-(
