Blocked attachments do not open, but it is possible to save them, and subsequently open separately from thunderbird. There is not enough function to completely block prohibited attachments, without the possibility of not only opening, but also of saving them. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7).
Hello Irshat and thanks a lot for your review.
I thought about blocking all potential malicious content but decided to focus on the open function to prevent especially unexperienced from infecting their computer by a hasty action.
Now, the user has to save the file, navigate to the corresponding directory and open the file manually.
Anyhow, I added this functionality to the todo list. If I find some time, I will try to implement that feature.
