This works quite well with FF3.5 and TB3.0RC1
The only enhancement I would like to see is a clearer icon, as it's a little small and difficult to tell when there is new mail.

I have used this add on for along time just love the fact that I can open browser and it automatically opens thunderbird now if they could only make thunderbird open in a tab like fire FTP does that would be fantastic

hesitate to criticize extensions because people mean well, but I regret ever attempting this one. It is too convoluted and involved in the installation process. But the worst result has been the loss of the neat Thunderbird feature of providing preview text boxes on the desktop of incoming new emails. even after deleting this extension from all Mozilla programs, the function has not returned, and I'm faced with re-installing T-bird to purge its effects on new message alerts.

Useful addon. It would be great if you release an upgraded version to work with FF 3.1 b2 and TB 3.0 b1.
Thanks.

Installed fine on both thunderbird and firefox, very complicated to setup if you don't know about ports, tcp/ip's and localhosts. Unfortunately I don't, so unistalled it. I could only get a connected signal when thunderbird was open, and I thought the whole point was to be able to monitor emails without doing so.

Some people seem to be confused by the installation method. Let me make this clear to you, install it as with any Firefox addon. Then to add it to Thunderbird right click on the "add to firefox" button and "Save link as". Then inside Thunderbird, open the "tools" menu - "add ons" and install it into Thunderbird too. Then you must go back into Firefox - Tools menu - Addons - thunderbird biff "options" and set the .exe location. It takes all of 2 mins and works great!

Developer's site states that to install this into TB, you must save it to disk. However, the link just leads back here, and there is no option to download the file directly -- only "Add to Firefox".
Can you give us an updated/correct link please?

I think that it's going to be awhile before this good program gets updated to work with Firefox 3.1 beta 1 and the future Thunderbird 3.0 because Shredder is still in the alpha stage of development (been testing both programs on my machine)but as we all know with Mozilla patience is well rewarded :)

Love the plug-in, been using it for awhile now.
There seems to be alittle bug with FF 3.0..
The Biff shows online, offline, new mail status, but I can no longer click the offline icon & start TB from FF.
