I love this add-on. I'm currently using this on my UBUNTU, but I am unable to download this add-on on my windows7.

can not install unfortunately, TB 24.5.0 !
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2.0).Can you give me more details? Any error messages? Any errors in the error console? What exactly is not working?
It's working for me with Thunderbird 24.5.0, >95% of the add-on users are using 24.5.0, and you're the first to report any problem.

Tolles Addon - coole Idee!
Erweiterungsvorschläge dazu:
alternativ "nur" ein extra Button neben "Re"/ "Fw" etc., im Mailheader mit dem die Anzeige in einem Extra Fenster einblendbar ist.

Amazingly helpful for finding old emails and sorting conversations, and the developer is still on top of maintenance. Looking forward for the upgrade so that it works with TB 24.

I love that add-on, I used it since 2011, but in 24th version it doesn't work anymore.
Please fix it.
I'm currently testing an updated version which works with Thunderbird 24, an update should be released in the next days.

Its message tracking idea is very good, but it's very messed up and confuses the user. Its diagram is also placed in a tiny box which is hard to use and see. Additionally it approximately slows Thunderbird.
A good improvement can be moving the diagram to vertical style and combine it with something like conversations. You can put those diagrams vertically at the left or right side of the conversation messages for easy tracking.

Mozzila add-ons page says it's compatible up to TB version 17, but the add-on homepage itself says it's only compatible up to TB version 9, and hasn't been updated since December 2011. I'm on TB17 and I can't get this add-on to work.

i use this addon for years now and didn't want to miss it.
it is extremely useful if you have a large folder structure and use "copy sent to current" addon too. with ThreadVis it is always possible to retrace a mail thread.
only drawback i found: i found no way to disable ThreadVis on "Sent" folder

This is the GPS for your mails. If you got lost with the threads of your mails, as I am, you need this extension that will let you simply navigate through the conversations.

The addon is not only excellent, but a great idea.
Very useful.
Using it for few days, I found just a minor problem. Sometimes is shown a scroll bar, vertical, horizontal or both.

I have been using this add-on with TB 3.1.15 for a month now with no significant errors so far (see below for a minor problem). Congrats to the developer.
Strong Points:
1. The colorful pictorial representation of threads in a time line is a beauty.
2. The knots representing the messages are clickable and open the
messages. More importantly, moving a message to a different folder has no adverse effect.
Weak points:
None so far.
Problems faced:
the option to display the time between two messages doesn't work for me

v2.1.702. Open a message and it just says "loading threadvis" and does nothing - forever.
RC on the 'loading....' message, and the formatting of the menu is shot to hell and also does nothing.
Pity. It looks great (for other people).

Great addon, but I have problems with some messages. Sometimes messages threadvis graph is not shown. If I right click on the empty space right to the addresses the contextual menu of the addon appears, but the graph is not there.
It always happens on the same messages, but I could not understand why they are different from the others.
