Worked flawlessly on my winxp/2.0.0.18 version, should be included with new release as an option. Works like outlook's resize but does this automatically after its enabled. Perfect for dial-up or slower connections but also extremely useful for anyone who wants to share pictures quickly.

Works perfectly for me. This functionality should be built into Thunderbird already. If you get this to work on other operating systems and out of "experimental" phase it will be the most popular add-on for Thunderbird. Great work!

"Temporary folder" problem is caused by a special characters (e.g. ąęśżźć) in folder name with original images. Remove special characters and it should work.

Finally -- my three attached photos went through. I had some trouble getting it to download, because the drop-down menu doesn't have a "Save link as..." feature. Hitting Download Now button (it's not a link) takes you to the registry. Once I was registered and logged in, the installation went great.

Worked awesome to resize a bunch of pictures I had to send to a friend. Allowed me to send all of them at once instead of four at a time.

Great add-on.
You must add option to resize inline images too.

When I'm trying to send some attachements I receive an error that it's impossible to open the temporary file - check the temporary folder settings and try again :(

I've checked - this temporary folder exists and have the same path like in error message :(

Some improvement could be done:
- add a text show on mouseover for the Auto Resize button
- Add the ability to resize by right clicink on 1 (or more) jpeg attachment (as inAutoCompressAttachment)
- do not compress multiple time (example: if I register twice the message in draft, it is compressed twice...

Works great for me! (XP, T-bird 2.0.0.14) It took me a minute to realize that it prompts to resize *after* clicking 'send'. Works well with 'attachment sizes' add-on. Thanks (or Danke)!

Probleme sind nach ein paar Testläufen nicht aufgetreten. Das Versenden von Fotos wird unheimlich erleichtert.

"not a valid package -207" Error. Too bad, I'd love something like this in Thunderbird.

Tried to install on version 2.0.0.12 (20080213) under XP for someone else, though run Debian Linux on my machine.
