The word misandry is still missing, is this by accident or by denial of the existence of the word, if its later then remove the word misogyny as well.

It's not working with Dictionary Switcher. I'm writing in English and my Firefox is on Portuguese (Brasil). I also have Spanish dictionary.
Portuguese and Spanish are spell corrected.
English does not work.

The dictionary feature should really appear in the Dictionaries section of FF, and no longer in the Addons.

Hi,
Is there any way to contact you? I have modified your addon in order to make Swedish Dictionary as for some reason there isn't one (used to be a couple of years ago). How do I go about doing right regarding using your code to create the new addon? Can I just hack it and then say "based on original code by...."?

love this add-on although it annoys the great googly mooglys out of me when i type "i'm/im" and it doesn't suggest "I'm". I'm to lazy to hit shift and would rather right-click. i would personally modify the .dic file but have no idea what the little codes by some of the words are

United States English Spellchecker 6.0 / by jooliaan
One should consider this a rudimentary "spell checker". What this product lacks is "breadth" and "depth". Simple tings shuck being able to save the word resume as (résumé) are not available to the user and many other common words do not appear in the suggested list even when the misspelling is exceptionally close to the actual spelling.
Though I am very sure that the developer put forth a great deal of effort in bring us this app, it would be nice to take it to the next level.

Even though this Add-On rarely works in the newer versions of FireFox, it is still time to add some words to the Dictionary. "FarmVille" is an English (U.S.) word that is used in over 300 Countries around the World these days. Oh, and in case no one noticed..... "FaceBook" is also a word that has recently been becoming popular. Can we get with the program please?

It's true that it misses "shaven", "dreamt" and other common words, but it's definitely good enough for my needs. And it works on Firefox 14!

Missed a simple word like "shaven." Someone really needs to put together a good dictionary for the Firefox spellcheck, because this is ridiculous. Hell, it just told me spellcheck was incorrect. ¬_¬

ROFL with "Oh yes it does work" reply from the author/poster. Has not worked for me since 10 and up, that's a fact and I am certainly not alone by the latest accounts here. I thank you for your efforts though and hope it can be fixed.

Works on TB11, but not on TB8: the install hangs TB8 and does not go through.

There are good add-ons that do what they claim and enhance one's time on the computer. Then there is this one. An absolute waste.
