Was the best add-on ever, there was no other add-on that was able to do the job so perfectly as this one, I hope that the developer do a new version that can be installed in the new FF Quantum.
I really encourage to all other users of this add-on to make presure to Mozilla for this add-on, or at least integrate a function that do the job EXACTLY as this add-on did. I really love the new FF Quantum, but also love this add-on.

The most useful Save As available is no longer workable in Firefox. This was another reason I backed off and downgraded to v56.0.2 after trying the horrific v57.
Every few years, Mozilla nukes its own highly useful software. Why? Because.

There's no way to at least convert MHT to a readable format now. on the official website, the noticed window to do the conversion is only a month and now all my old file cannot be opened

SOLUTION FOR FIREFOX 57+
Install a second version of Firefox (v.56) and deactivate the update.
Here you can find all versions:

It's really a regret of the discontinued support in the latest Firefox,
Alternative workaround,
1. Install Total Command (TC)
2. Download MAFF plug-in (decMaffWLX 2015.03.21) at https://totalcmd.net/directory/lister.html
3. Open TC and browse the zip file, double click, and prompt to install
Note, you can' directly open maff file by TC, the steps is to locate the maff file and click F3 or View to load the UI.

This Extension served to resolve a Major Flaw in Firefox which must have irritated the FireFox "Leaders" (really Trailers).
I can think of no other logical reason FireFox has yet to incorporate this Basic Function and instead has chosen to eliminate!
The Save page WE is and the so called "conversion" is not in any way a suitable substitute.
Saved Web Pages with an accompanying Folder of Objects
is like carrying my Computer to look up a phone number to call from my Mobile Phone.
To add some perspective to the issue Mozilla has created for me,
I have well over Eight Thousand (8,000) "*.mht" Files
FireFox Rest in Peace.

MAFF is fantastic. It WORKS. In this time when we have fast and easy gather knowledge from the Internet it is a PEARL. With no doubts - breaking compatibility in new version of FF will bring the browser to the END. For years I use FF I have tons of MAFFs I will not convert them into crappy HTML + FileFolder format. This is my knowledge base. Available whereever I need it no matter if a given material is still available and in place. No paid solution like Evernote, Pocket and so on will be enough for me and I know that for many others too.
I prey Mozilla will see the whole mistake in abandoning compatibility with it. Why FF cannot be a browser for advanced Internet users for which functionality means far more than "fast-clicking". And this is one of of the bases of functionality... and FREEDOM :)
It is real big mistake which prevent me before updating the browser in the future and eventually taking in mind to abandon it.

Well, who would use this slow, laggy browser when every other browsers support exactly same Webextensions? The unique addons were the only things that prevent the Firefox from complete death.
Mozilla needs to realize their engine will never be able to beat Webkit and should keep things that make Firefox special.

I have never known a programmer yet who was anything but a waste of flesh! Mozilla Archive Format WORKS. Why the hell replace it with crap that doesn't? If it isn't broke, don't try to fix it! That is exactly why I moved to Linux and away from the windows crap to begin with! There is NO legitimate reason to upgrade stuff without keeping the "legacy" features that work!

Firstly thanks to the developers of this add-on. It was really great.
It sucks that Firefox has decided to break compatibility like this. I thought Mozilla would be reliable. WTF.

This app is invaluable and I have many files stored in this format.
I just can not be without it. Will I be forced to use older versions of Firefox?
Or even better, I stop using FF at all.

Hello this is not a review !!
we're just protesting & equally pissed off with Mozilla supporting off the MHT/MAFF project..
why would mozilla take such a rash decision....this is beyond our thinking..
but we can all gather together & pledge to keep this facility for future versions of firefox...
so I urge the developers of this addon to lodge a formal complaint & let us know for sure wht should be our next actions...
we're waiting eagerly & hoping for a 'saveful'-future of web pages...
c'mmon its 2017 !!
Again thanking the developer of this addon Christopher & Paolo...
Pls let us know how can we help you?? Can you create a pledge to save this addon & tag us on??
