... Mozilla really need to get this addon into "Quantum". I have also been using this extension for years and it is one of the reasons I keep coming back to Firefox. Apart from the extended privacy options, this is the only feature (via browser or addon/extension) that I simply cannot get from any other major browser. The ability to return to multiple large downloads and have things like checksums done automatically is indispensable to me. It looks like I will be using some random fork of Firefox to keep using DownThemAll. Firefox's numbers will continue to shrink despite its strong merits.

- checksum support
- set timestamp of downloaded file to that of the file on the server
- list of recently used locations to save the downloaded file

I only use Firefox Nightly 58 64 bit. This add-on does not work in Firefox Nightly 58.
I like this add-on but... sad and messed up that the powers the be messed up this add-on up for creator and users just because... this add-on is not a WebExtension. Please even thought it is hard please don't give up. I like this add-on... and it is irreplaceable. So irreplaceable that I will except no substitutes.

i have been using this for years. it is great for when you don't want to lose a download to a kink in the internet, or for grabbing masses of certain files from a site. like every mp3 on a page for a free audiobook.
it has plenty of configuration options. i tend to leave them at default nowadays. as it just works, right out of the box
