I'm with FF 3RC1 and today finally make update of Dictionary Switcher. But now some of the pages are shown with bigger size. If I disable Dictionary Switcher and reload the FF the pages are fine. After enabling, the pages are with big size text again.

Hi, I use this addon a lot, but I really miss it in FF3. Is this addon abandoned?

Dictionary Switcher 0.8 works with Firefox only!!!

Very useful if you post in more than one language and often switch between them. Different pages open in different tabs at the same time can have different languages set, and the language changes as you flip between them - it can also be set to remember the language used between visits to a site.
A minor gripe - the switching doesn't seem to work so well if you have more than one window open with different languages in them, so it is best used for tabbed browsing.

I would rather have American Heritage as my default dictionary instead of Websters... but on the whole the switcher is very very useful for multilinguists.

I should have two dictionaries (Swedish and Russian) installed but only one shows in the taskbar. There is no Russian dictionary to go to. What happened?

Hey!!
This is a GREAT addon, for Firefox. One of the best. :D
...but sadly it doesn't work in FF3b5pre :(
I've opened the file, and changed it, so I could install it, but it doesn't show up in the bar. :(
Really hope you can fix it. ;)

The extension is useful, but it is cumbersome that a setting to a textarea doesn't stick if you switch to another tab and back.

works fine; helps me a lot
rating would be 10 if switchable via hotkey

This add-on is a must have if you post on different websites in different languages and you want a spell checker, it works great.

This add-on is the perfect solution to multi-language use in Firefox; it's light, very easy to use and bug-free. The only let-down is that the interface is locked to the status bar; some users, as well as myself, hide the status bar and it would be great if the interface could be positioned in a toolbar or the menu bar

Just pure simplicity, but lacks a feature: "no dictionary / disabled", also per site. This would be great so that we don't get double dictionaries, eg. docs.google.com.
Keep up the nice work :-)

I really like this extension. :)
Maybe "Detect dictionary as I type (EXPERIMENTAL)" could be enhanced by using this ideas? ->
