Не могли бы приделать translate.yandex.ru? У него достаточно уникальный статистический движок перевода, который иногда выдает просто удивительно точные результаты.

Bonjour,
Ce module fonctionne, mais il faut uniquement activer la traduction avec Google sinon c'est du n'importe quoi. Par contre, il ne traduit pas tout le texte s'il est un peu long. Dommage !
Est-ce normal ?

Very obtrusive and annoying. The docked window didn't want to close, and the icon for drag & drop followed my mouse cursor around constantly, as opposed to showing up only when something was selected. It also messed up the layout, causing elements of Thunderbird's UI to "jump" out of place when it passed, and even caused the translator window's content to stretch so far out of place I could no longer reach the button to close it. The translation itself seemed okay, but it was just too annoying an addon to keep using it.

This tool is a great new entry in the translation addons world.
I like the concept and I think have a great potential.
When I select some words and click on icon, appear the translation window without the selected text inside but if repeat again the translation work.
Please add the auto detect language, an option for disable the icon near the selection and fix the movement on button bar when the mouse pass over.
In addition I see only 2 provider Google and Bing,
Why Pragma is not included?
I suggest also a different color for text or background of translated area.

The English is not good in the description when the "www.tran" pane/frame is open. The red 'close' cross didn't work. They suggest we let them know our impressions, but don't provide a link; nor was I able to copy/paste the name from the pane. Fvcking flash. I hate it.
So far, I have not tried translating anything; my experience was simply that of opening the pane by accident and not being able to close it again. No reason to doubt the quality of the translation.
While the pane was open, I did change the settings for languages to be translated from. I didn't like the fact that the only languages provided on clicking the arrow were English, German and Other, All other languages were an extra click away, and so greyed-out as to be invisible.

So I've tried it again, and this time hitting the close button left the Tran pane in place and closed my tabs sidebar. Compatibility problem. Regrettably I will have to remove this addon.

So far I am impressed with it's ease of use. I like the multiple translations of selected text from English to Spanish, which is all I am doing. The copy of the highlighted desired translation and paste to email works very well. Like all translators it can only do so much, as Spanish phrases are in reverse to English sometimes. But it gets closer than most. It is from Trident, and they have been at this game of translation services for some time.
