I absolutely love this program. Now that it has been updated, I can't reload my previous reminders. Working with Windows 8. I can find the AppData file okay in Explorer but it will not show when bringing up the Reminder Fox program. What am I doing wrong? Can anybody help me?

This is a great little program that works well, is attractive, and is easy to use. I have one little annoyance with it. I wish it were easier to mark an item completed. There should be a check box you can check, or double click to mark complete, or something like that.

But there are quicker ways to complete reminders. When a reminder is selected, pressing the space-bar acts as a quick-key to toggle an event complete. Alternatively, if you have the Complete column showing, you can simply click in the column to toggle a reminder as complete (a checkmark will appear in that column). To show the Complete column, click on the Column dropdown, which you can find at the right-most of the column headers (to the right of the "Description" header by default).

This is an awesome addon! I've been using it for a couple of years now on Firefox/Ubuntu & Iceweasel/Debian without any (serious) problems. The export/sync feature is a major plus.I'm confident the issue with "sync" in 2.1 will be addressed quickly.Keep up the (wonderful) work.JB
edit jun 26 - sync works fine in 2.1.1 (FR locale)

Hi there - ReminderFox is translated into 34 languages. Which language locale are you specifically looking for? We can look to obtain that translation.

I love this addon, after updating I noticed some problems, and I found that when I use english version of firefox it works perfectly, but when I use the spanish one, that I want, the sync tab among other things don´t work or are missing.
any way to fix this ?

Writing a second review since I couldn't reply to your reply, and since I don't know if you get notified of edited posts.
My locale is Sweden and the less-than-perfect Swedish translation concerns the display of birthdays. Since remembering birthdays is one of the primary reasons why I use Reminderfox, this becomes especially prominent. I prefer correct English to flawed translations in my own tongue. It's laudable that you provide translations, but I prefer them to be optional or customisable. Thank you!

The version 2.1 have some bugs. Sometimes, When you modify some options and click confirm, it dosn't work.
When I downgrade to 2.02, it works well.

Version 2.1 is not working poroperly with FF 19.0.2 on Windows - new Sync tab is empty.
After downgrade to 2.0.2 it works again.

Po ostatniej aktualizacji nie wszystko wyświetla się w j. polski np."Add Event". Ustawiając wyświetlanie np."wybrany tydzień" po ponownym uruchomieniu wyświetlają się wszystkie przypomnienia.

Zu grobschlächtig und zerfleddert erscheint mir die Oberfläche von ReminderFox, um von einem intuitiv zu bedienenden Design aus einer Hand zu sprechen.
Schon beim Hinzufügen eines Termins werde ich von einem selbst in der reduzierten Ansicht noch 25 Steuerelemente enthaltendem Formular förmlich erschlagen. Die unterschiedlichen Größen der Steuerelemente, die unterm Strich aber allesamt zu groß geraten wirken, das eher nicht tabellarische Layout und das Fehlen von Struktur-schaffenden Freiräumen verhindern, dass ich mich mit der Oberfläche wohlfühle. Dazu trägt auch die Hauptoberfläche bei, die mit einem wilden Mix aus eigenen und Standard-Steuerelementen aufwartet. Allzu oft erscheinen die Fenster von ReminderFox irgendwo in einer Ecke des Browserfensters, die Übersetzung ist unfertig und wirkt uneinheitlich, was jedoch vermutlich nicht dem Entwickler anzukreiden ist. Die Terminerinnerung funktioniert einwandfrei, das zweistündlich erscheinende Hinweispanel mit den nächsten Terminen raubte mir jedoch zunächst die Nerven, bis ich die Option zum Deaktivieren fand. Das Erinnerungspanel empfinde ich als ebenso unübersichtlich wie den Rest, nützliche Funktionen wie z. B. "statt Erinnerung anzeigen eine Webseite in neuem Tab öffnen" fehlen oder sind so versteckt, dass ich sie in den Einstellungen noch nicht gefunden habe.
Fazit: RemindexFox erscheint durch die massive Steuerelement-Schlacht auf den ersten Blick extrem funktionell, ist aber im Grunde genommen auch nur ein kleines Kalender-Tool, das zu eingestellten Zeitpunkten Erinnerungs-Fenster einblendet. Das kann mein Windows Kalender auch. Von daher ist das Add-on für mich nur bedingt zu gebrauchen. Es tut allerdings das, was beworben wird, und daher gibt es keinen Grund, weniger als 3 Sterne zu geben.

Since "Lightning" is no longer compatible with Seamonkey, this is the best reminder and calendar avail. Reminderfrox easily imports ics files that i export to my netbook. its easy to read.This extension keeps seamonkey usable for me.
