It's a great little program that doesn't need to sync up to any emails or add-ons to work. The general look is very meh for me, but at least it's easy to use.

I love ReminderFox especially because I don't have to open a separate program & it allows me to keep a running, date-ordered-list of things I can't afford to miss. I am dyslexic & have ADD so I have great difficulty finding a calendar/appt system that works for me; so far, this does! I have been on a medical leave for a while after surgery & will soon be starting a new job that will require I keep straight a changing schedule... keeping my fingers crossed that this works for that! A few things I'd like to see added: 1) an option which allows MemoryFox to delay its start-up by 5 to 10 minutes... apparently folks have identified it as an add-on that slows Firefox down at start up & I think this change would solve that (Skype has that option). 2) An audible alarm option. This add-on is an absolute blessing even without one but, there are some items I would like to be able to link to an audible instead of just a pop-up. 3) Additional color options for text. This would allow me to color-code entries for the various categories... I like the categories option but haven't yet been able to find out if I can sort/search by categories. Also wanted to mention the genius of allowing a link/ URL to be included with the reminder! Nice work guys & thank you!

when I used firefox 30.0 and reminderfox 2.1.5, the drop-down menu only show small icons of website. Even I disabled all other add-ones. Someone described this error before (2.1.4). Is it a bug？

Try right-clicking on the toolbar/statusbar area and select Customize... You should see a ReminderFox or ribbon icon that you can drag anywhere you want. Can you try that and see if that works any better?

Version 2.1.5 saved my life.
I had bugs with Version 2.1.4.2 (didn't save new events - todo's ,reminders...) but version 2.1.5 works fine...

I have found Reminderfox to be a very usefull tool indeed. I sync with Ubuntu and Windows 7 via Dropbox. Hats off to the developers Tom Mutdosch and Daniel Lee for an awsome add-on. Thanks to both of you.

I take back what I said previously. I started Firefox and everything was fine. Went to lunch, came back (no one touched my computer) and every bit of info I'd put into Reminder Fox mysteriously vanished. A lot of hard work down the drain. So long Reminder Fox... Not worth the hassle or the uncertainty.

Latest modification to 2.1.4.2 has overcome the not being able to delete or alter the status of reminders. Appears to be back to full functionality. Thanks for such a useful addon.

come on Mozilla... reminder tanked my whole system this afternoon. Froze up then dreaded blue screen. You can do better... you have done better.....new Reminder NOW!!!!!

What a mess...
Alarms and Quick alarms don't work...
So I give a last chance to this addon I used for years now.
If coders don't do the job, I'll use Lightning addon instead.
And I guess I won't be alone...
Reminderfox worked perfectly before last versions.
Why autors always want to deeply modify again and again their progs?
They should better improve existing and functional markup.
If they want to make big changes, they should create a new addon and give it to mozilla when fully TESTED.

I spent HOURS setting up reminders for 8 weeks of a medical treatment protocol and when I opened it up this morning, they were GONE. I'm going to use Google Calendar from now on.

argh! Version 2.1.4.2 wrecked my navbar.. again.

I had to remove ReminderFox, then recreate my custom navbar (FF27.0), then install ReminderFox.

At least this update doesn't break the navbar after reinstalling (like 2.1.4 did), but this still needs fixing as it breaks an existing custom navbar until it is removed then reinstalled.

IOW, don't autoupdate it -- remove your 2.1.4.1 then install 2.1.4.2 from scratch.

P. S. oops, sorry devs. I was editing while you replied. What it does is removes icons from other add-ons (Self-Destructing cookies, ResumeLater, etc.) from my custom navbar. Version 2.1.4.2 wouldn't let me put them back -- I had to remove it then put the other add-on icons back, then install 2.1.4.2

Thanks for the feedback. In what way did version 2.1.4.2 affect your custom navbar? Just want to make sure I get the right use case so I can fully investigate.
