I've posted it some reviews ago (and will post in a separate, new extension tomorrow -with all credits to the original developer!).

You can download an adapted version of this extension which will work for 3.5.2 at - http://rapidshare.com/files/267634366/copy_plain_text-0.3.3-fx_mz_tb.xpi

I use this add-on on a daily basis. I can't believe it's not functional with 3.5.2 - argh! PLEASE make it compatible as soon as possible. It is a brilliant add-on and extremely useful.

Surprisingly, this is, or rather was, my most used and favorite add on. Unfortunately, it no longer works with FF 3.5. I really hope that you can find the time to update it to make it compatible with FF 3.5 and up. I really miss having it.

"Copy Plain Text" does not work with the latest revision of Firefox - version 3.5.2

Anxiously waiting for 3.5 version

I've turned on the "Make as default COPY action" option. This is useful as I want 95% of my copying to be done as plain text.

But occasionally I want to copy the HTML intact. This extension is missing a right-click context menu functionality to "Copy as HTML". This is very strange, as when the "Make as default COPY action" is not enabled, right clicking on text includes "Copy as Plain Text" in the context menu.

As far as I can tell, the only way to accomplish what I'm looking to do is to turn off the option in the addon, copy, paste, and then turn the option back on. This is a deal-breaker for me.

Am I missing something? And it looks like this addon isn't actively worked on any more, but adding that little functionality would make CPT a five-star addon in my opinion.

To nelsonr. Your solution is simply fabulous!

Although, official update is still highly expected.

Waiting the new update you can use this method for installing this add-on.
Go to this site : http://mozmonkey.com/copyplaintext/#install, select download and save the file in your desktop.
Rename xxx.xpi --> xxx.zip, open the file and extract "install.rdf", search this line "em:maxVersion="3.0.*" and replace the 0 by 5, save, put the "install.rdf" modified in the zip, rename xxx.zip --> xxx.xpi and drag in Firefox.
I tested and it's run corretly with Autocopy 1.0
