Firesizer

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

5 stars until today when I updated to 1.6. Wish I hadn't. Same problem reported by previous two reviewers: it's disappeared from the status bar. Help!!

EDIT: Never mind the "help!!" part—I just went to the version history page and restored v. 1.5 for now.

Thank you, Alex. Fixed the login failure problem for me on my Power Mac G5 running FF 3.6.22. This is a five-star add-on—when it works. Too bad Gmail is such a moving target.

Update 3/2/10: Now the snippets don't work even in the account where Buzz is turned off. I give up.

@theprotocoldroid: Thanks for that tip! Big difference between hiding and disabling Buzz. I hid it on the account that isn't active on Buzz. Now I can keep tabs on that one via Gmail Manager while remaining logged into Gmail on the other one.

I'd like to go back to 0.5.7.5 while Todd is working on a fix for the Google Buzz conflict (which, for anyone who hasn't caught up with this yet, is probably the culprit if your snippets aren't working). Assuming a Mac can do Capt. Nemo's trick of changing 3.5.* to 3.6.* in the install.rdf file, can someone lay out the steps for me? I'm trying to fake it and getting nowhere. I'm not crazy about the alternative of completely turning off the compatibility check since I want to look into some other add-ons soon. Thanks!
