The inclusion of redirect suppression is brilliant.
I wish the quick shortcuts would skip showing the dialog (instead of showing the dialog and closing it automatically). On Mac, animation makes this take a second.
I'd like a way to maintain scroll position across pages. I have a small screen and use this extension on pages that have large ads at the top.

I love it! I've been searching for this kind of add-ons for years. I was discouraged first when I hit the shortcut keys faced with option, but I'm happy to see that it one time (per session)only , the rest is to hit the shortcuts keys only. Thanks to developer.

@Han Solo, The same could be said about your browser history or most other functions in the browser. ;) URL Flipper doesn't store actual URLs (just hashes), so it's extremely difficult to reconstruct any private data from what it saves, and there's also a command to wipe everything. According to the bug tracker, integration with the leave-no-trace mode new to Firefox 3.5 is planned for a future release.

So the new URL Flipper will now remember all patterns, across different browser windows and sessions.. What about privacy? What about if I visited porn galleries and don't want anyone to know? I'd suggest to add a button 'remember this' like a whitelist of pages and patterns to remember.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.1.2).UF3 will *never* store the actual URLs and patterns that you encounter. If someone breaks into your computer, ransacks your profile, and steals your URL Flipper pattern database, it would be impossible for them to extract any sort of history data without brute-force trial and error.
This protection is inherent in how UF3 handles pattern data: instead of relying on the patterns themselves, UF3 remembers only a cryptographic 1-way hash of a pattern, much like how passwords are protected in modern operating systems by storing only their cryptographic hashes. Thus, the only way any private information can "leak" out is if someone is visiting a site that you've remembered the pattern for, in which case they would be able to increment/decrement without going through pattern setup first. Once again, aside from a brute-force trial-and-error matching of every possible URL pattern hash against the list of stored hashes, it is simply impossible to extract arbitrary information from the stored data.
PS: All UF3 data is stored locally in the user profile. UF does NOT use (and has never used) "cloud" storage.
PPS: The "Clear All Pattern Data" command will permanently delete all accumulated data.

Brilliant addon, really helps with alot of stuff.
One suggestion: could you possibly make it so it can work automatically? So example, every 1,2,3 5 seconds it URLFlips once. Would be a great use.

I like this add on it replaces a similar add on that stopped being supported. My one gripe is that it picks the numbers furthest to the left. Generally speaking you want to increment the current page not two folders up.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.1).This is, by far, the most frequently-requested feature, and it has been incorporated into version 2.2.0.

I would like status bar tools as iv disabled my navigation bar to save space.
I use keyboard shortcuts at the mo, but there's another problem, it wont let me set the quick increment to cntrl+shift+alt+a (currently quick decrement) even after changing quick decrement, not major, just majorly annoying for me.
I think default is a= back, s=forward, but I want a=up z=down, geddit?
Any help?
The shortcut keys can be changed and customized via the addon's options.

This should be a standard feature on any browser. It's more than just a add-on. It's light and does not affect the browser's action speed.
What I'd like for now, is an up-date to FF3.1 Beta.
Thanks

Thanks for the Addon.
I don't use it a lot, but when I do, it is very helpful!

It works for some simple sequential files
But often it just seems to go to an index page by default -I can't see why. When I test another similar program - it opens sequential photo gallery pictures without any trouble; whereas URL flipper struggled and got it wrong every time.
Very hit and miss.

Great Idea and Realization! It works on MacOSX too. Many Thanks for this tool and for the unofficial update of SuperDrag&Go! (i prefer this tool rather QuickDrag, so plz dont stop to update it, we need you!)

Very useful.
Although it would be even better to have some time format support. /yearmounthday numeration is quite widespread for example.

Very good extension.
One request: An option should be available for activating decimal quick increment/decrement via toolbar button if there's only one numeric part in the URL.

I wondered when someone would make an extension to make looking at "Images" ;) easier!
