Awesome, works with almost all sites

The greasymonky's scrip doesn't work with Tumblr's Archive page, but this one does. Excellent !

But there's one thing that annoys me:I can only whitelist pages in the settings - why is it impossible to blacklist specific pages?
Edit: Nice! - installed it instantly and corrected my rating ^^
A blacklist feature is coming soon; in fact it's already available if you install the beta version. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/thumbnail-zoom-plus/versions/

I've tried this a few months/years back and I didn't like it because it would show the image for a fraction of a second then close, I then had to move my mouse off and then back on the link for it to actually show up.
The thing is that this behavior is still there and it's annoying, I want to switch back to firefox (iceweasel 26 on debian) because I don't like Google's politics nowadays, but on chrome imagus was the best, after the hoverzoom malware scandal. Please fix this.
EDIT: Review updated, this developer was nice enough to reply me with a fix for linux which consists of [Try changing "Pop-up takes keyboard focus"]
I dual-boot and I thought I remembered that it did the same thing on windows 7 as well but I'm not sure tbh, haven't booted in a few weeks and I've since switched to Mozilla.
Thanks again David, I will recommend this to friends.
Some version of Linux have problems like this. Try changing the setting of "Pop-up takes keyboard focus" in Thumbnail Zoom Plus preferences.

[Although as it turns out unrelated to this addon, this post might still prove helpful for people experiencing the same problem.]
Update: Problem occurs in Firefox 26.0, will be resolved in Firefox 27. If you need a fix in the meantime I suggest using Firefox ESR (Firefox 24 for companies which will receive security updates for ~1 year).
bugzilla https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=956460
edit: Fault seems to lie indeed with Firefox 26.0, Firefox ESR 24.2 and 27 Beta don't seem to be affected.
VIDEO SHOWING THE ERROR [36s]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fru3-qCbTw
I'm not 100% sure why Firefox crashes in this scenario, but ThumbnailZoom+ is involved, so here I am.
I'd very much appreciate it if the developer checks out this problem as it occurs in the same configuration (Firefox, Addons) even AFTER a system re-install.
Error appears using Firefox 26 (didn't happen w/ Firefox <26 iirc) + Reddit Enhancement Suite + Thumbnail Zoom Plus when viewing animated GIFs.
Error: Firefox is stuck at 100% CPU usage and doesn't respond (need to kill process and restart).
Reproduce the error:FF 26 + RES + ThumbnailZoomPlus
Lots of gifs to test for example http://www.reddit.com/r/reactiongifs/
(happens only if these two addons are active, hardware acceleration (on/off) doesn't matter, neither do other addons (on/off))
1) hover over link (ThumbnailZoom+ shows partial GIF)
BEFORE IMAGE IS COMPLETELY LOADED
2) move cursor (viewer closes), then expand the image on reddit using the little button with a Camera and "+". (Which is useful for resizing the image) which is located next to the thumbnail
--> Crash / Freeze
*** for me this results in a crash after at most 15 gifs ***
I'm aware RES isn't even an official addon on here...but here's a comment section. And maybe there's an actual underlying problem somewhere. That being said, sorry for abusing the rating system to (maybe) have someone check out this error which might not even happen because of this addon.System: Core i5 2500k, Win7 Pro 64bit, SSD
Thanks for the problem report.
Firefox 26 has a bug with animated GIFs (unrelated to Thumbnail Zoom Plus). I believe it's fixed in Firefox Beta (version 27) so try that. Firefox 27 is scheduled for general release Feb, 2014.

Just in case anyone else thought this add-on broke in the last update check the add-on settings. For some reason after the last last update the Thumbnail Zoom got disabled for me in the Thumbnail Zoom Plus Preferences.

Wow this is exactly what I was looking for. I had been using the Googlenlarge greasemonkey script but it hasn't been updated in years and so is broken. This add-on shows large full-size images almost instantly. I'm looking at 4Mpixel+ images. It allows you to go to another thumbnail without first having to move the cursor to a white space like you had to do with Googlenlarge. I love the 'Save Enlarged Image As…' context menu item that saves the original full image. I think the menu item name is somewhat misleading. It implies that it saves an upsampled image instead of the actual original image. I think 'Save Full Size Image As…' would be more intuitive. Wonderful add-on.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.1-signed).Thanks for the review and for the menu item name change suggestion.
There is actually already a hotkey for Save: while a pop-up is displayed press the "s" key (without any Control or Command key).

Un excellent module qui devient quasi indispensable, une fois qu'on l'a essayé.

I never thought I needed this Addon. Until I restarted Firefox and I need it immediately for websites with very small thumbnails that I can't see very well. I suggest you install this and see what I mean...
You will enjoy the experience of browsing the web at a whole different playing field of viewing...

It's really a time saver, and I use a similar addon in Chrome, though it's funny because the Chrome addon has support for DeviantArt links, but this one doesn't. This addon makes up for it by supporting youtube better though.
What I'm saying is this is begging for DeviantArt support!

Sorry, it still does make nothing. It's activated, but doen't show anything by hovering over flickr or facebook tabs. (FF 25.0.1)
----------- edit ----------------
hmmm... seems that's something with my configuration. The preferences are ok (nothing changend of the default values), nothing happend. Re-installing: no fix.Now I tried the v2.5, but it's the same issue. Deactivating of all other addons: It still does nothing. Any further idea?
In Thumbnail Zoom Plus preferences, make sure "Enable" is on and "Key to" is set to "display" rather than "not display". Also make sure the checkboxes for Flickr and Facebook are on.
If that doesn't help, you could try removing and then re-adding Thumbnail Zoom Plus.

It's a great addon, but it has several issues while using on facebook. Sometimes it doesnt show the image at all, only a tiny square above. I had to put the max zoom at 500% and it improved but sometimes it fails. That causes to see the zoomed image pixelated at most cases. It works really well on google images.

Love the addon.
However, I have a couple questions on privacy.
1) Are pictures in an https page requested with https?
2) Are pictures in private browsing mode handled any differently?
1. Pictures are often but not always requested using the same protocol as the web site's thumbnail for the most part. On certain sites TZP uses http even when the original thumbnail is https.
2. TZP honors the Private Browsing setting of the current window. For example, it doesn't add to history in Private Browsing mode and when an image is saved via 's' it tells Firefox that the image is private (which may affect how Firefox handles it).
