Doesn't work anymore. Too bad, it was great.
It seems to not be supported.
Any replacement?

this addon is wonderful, but it would be greater if compatible with another add on thunderbird conversations 2.x

Saves me heaps of time.
Lets me subscribe to a number of email lists, but quickly see key words that I am interested in, and ignore the rest.
Been using it a long time.

Great idea, very useful, but <span title="vocabulary highlighter" name="vocabhighlightervocabulary highlighter" id="vocabhighlighter630" class="vh2-Positivo">Vocabulary highlighter</span> is much better, but it just works in <span title="firefox" name="vocabhighlighterfirefox" id="vocabhighlighter580" class="vh2-Positivo">FireFox</span>, it would be great if could work with ALL programs.
Keyword Highlight could improve:
- If you don’t introduce the words to search in alphabetical order, they are not highlighted. And there’s not even a message to advice of that…
- If a word appears many times, sometimes it doesn’t highlight all the instances
- It would be great to be able to search for sentences, not just words

I've been using this addon since 1.02 on Thunderbird 3.x or so, and it used to highlight every instance of the search word, but now in 1.04 it does not. This addon is useless to me unless it can continue to do that.
Thanks for the addon.

Incoming keywords are great but outgoing keywords might be equally or more important. Perhaps that could be included in the next version.
**Edit** After writing the review it did( barely) work on an outgoing mail. However, it failed to spot keywords and then accidentally created some by mistake. One of my keywords was "app" or "apps" and it started highlighting the middle of the word "happy" instead. I was able to remove the mistaken keywords from the body of the email but I was forwarding an email that had "happy" in the address and it was impossible to correct the mistake. It made it look like crap and I had to recreate the header manually. So it didn't work once, then it malfunctioned on the second mail and some of the mistakes could not be corrected. Not good!

I really like this add-on, since it makes it easy to spot references to me or specific items in e-mails at a glance.
But - I keep getting this "empty_messagePane" dialog, which I can't get rid of, on MacOS 10.6.
I close the dialog, but a blank grey box remains which then overlays all applications.
I looked at the code, and it would seem that you have alert() calls scattered in the code - really I think these should be limited to development code only, and should be commented out for publicly available code.
Could you please update with them commented out?

Very useful! I've installed this add-on on my iMac and MacBook Air.
But on my MacBook Air with TB 3.1.7, TB has often failed to start. At that time, I had to start TB by safe mode once, before starting normally. After uninstalling this add-on, TB always start normally. Therefore, this add-on may cause to not starting TB normally.

I like this add-on a lot. We have many different group email aliases at work and this add-on saves me a lot of time not having to ready through each and every email that is addressed to a specific group. I can clearly see my name or some other keywords I specified (related to my job role or current projects I work on).
To make it even more useful how about adding a feature to highlight the email subject in the email list view. That way one could immediately identify the emails that have matching tags in them without having to open them.

Thank you for sharing but does not work in TB 3.0.1.
Try searching for Highlight Text 1.0 and tweak a little to work with newer TB version.

Great add-on, but my keywords are lost at every browser restart.
