It works flawlessly on my windows XP workstation with FF3. It even allows me to manage a google apps account, our email system is gmail managed. I have both my normal gmail and my work gmail tied to this. Very nice.

Is there any way to delete the symbol in the status-bar? i prefer to have it in front of my bookmarks...

This is one of the add-ons I truly rely on, but it seems as of late, it's had some issues, especially in regards to the ability to remember your gmail password - I get prompted for password every time I open Firefox at work(3.0.3 on XP). However, my Linux installs at home work fine (?) I'm sure this is due to Google making changes to gmail, but an update would be nice. I'm not sure if the developer has abandoned this project, but I hope he has not.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.5).Yeah, apparently there appears to be an issue with Firefox "forgetting" the passwords. I've recently noticed this as well. I'll have a new version (i.e. 0.6) out shortly which should address this issue along with many new features long overdue. Thanks for your review and this project has definitely not been abandoned.

I used this extension 20x a day the past year, but recently it hasn't been working. Not sure why.

Used to work great, but not at all anymore.

Used to be the greatest add-on, but now it fails to connect to accounts; shows wrong mail counts; and sometimes unable to connect when an account is already signed in.
I hope the developer hasn't deserted this for good...

Must-have if you have several Gmail accounts!

It's great, except for this last week it won't log into a new account. I have 2 GMail accounts, and the only way to check both is to log out of the one I'm in. Otherwise, clicking the toolbar logs me into the account I was just on.

Intenté compararlo con los otros que andan por ahí, pero sigue siendo más cómodo y fácil de configurar.

I love this program and have been using it for quite a long time now. There is, however, a new problem that has cropped up with my recent update to Firefox 2.0.0.17. When I close one gmail account tab and go to switch to the other gmail account it logs back into the account I was just in. I have to actually sign out of that account before I can switch accounts. It automatically did that for me before. Could you fix this?

Great extension, that makes having several Google accounts easy.
Unfortunately, it still contains some minor bugs that haven't been fixed yet, as no release has been done for 6 months...
By the way, I don't think the problem we're having at the moment with Google Calendar is linked to Gmail Manager.

This add-on works great, except for some reason or another it messes with Google Calendar. When installed and you go to Google Calendar to enter an event, it will not submit the event until you enter it 2-3 times. This behavior is sometimes random but I had this issue every day it seems. I tested this on FF 3.0.3 on Vista and OS X Leopard 10.5.5.
I stopped using this add-on because of this issue. Otherwise it's great.
UPDATE: I reported that Gmail Manager creates problems for Google Calendar. The only reason I reported this was because after disabling the add-on testing Google Calendar was fine, re-enabling the add-on, the problem came back. I was able to reproduce this every time on both Vista and Leopard. Now it's not to say that this add-on combined with another add-on i'm using is causing the problem in Google Calendar (since I use the same add-ons on both computers. I will test by disabling all other add-ons and leaving gmail manager enabled.

This has never worked correctly for me. Although, I was able to get around some of the issues of it logging me out of accounts and not opening accounts in new tabs or windows. It was still too difficult to deal with.

Very small footprint in the bottom right corner. Clicking the bottom right corner opens a new tab and loads your Gmail. Has the ability to play a sound when email arrives, and you can set the time interval for checking email. Makes checking multiple accounts a breeze.
Very awesome add-on. A must have.

Whenever this add-on checks gmail, it logs me out of the gmail session I'm logged into with firefox, which also logs me out of chat. I would also like a notifier that is more real time just like the gmail web client, and not merely another scheduled email poller.
