This addon claims: "Works with Thunderbird 78.0 - *"
But in Thunderbird 115.6, the addon does not work:
Neither clicking on the toolbar button nor clicking on the message header button has any effect.

But installing the addon in Thunderbird 115.8 fails with this error:
"This add-on could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt."

Good idea.
I have looked everywhere, but I cannot find this setting:
"Configurable deletion mode (Trash or permanent delete)"

Also, it would be useful to let the user chose between these actions:
* delete to trash
* mark as junk + move to junk folder
* move to another specified folder
