I tried to register at "http://quickfoxnotes.sourceforge.net/forum" to report this bug, but got this error:
General Error
Could not open socket
Please notify the board administrator or webmaster: inb.cor@gmail.com
So consider yourself notified.
Meanwhile, the bug:
I use the All-In-One sidebar to view my add-ons. I click on the Options button as displayed in the sidebar for the Quickfox Notes add-on version 2.8.1.
When Quickfox Notes is the only tab open, and I click on the Options button, Firefox exits. It doesn't crash, there's no "Tell Mozilla about it" window. It just disappears.
When Quickfox Notes is not the only tab open, after I click on the Options button, the Quickfox Notes tab disappears and a smaller Quickfox Notes window opens with the "Tools" drop-down menu already visible. This is what is supposed to happen.
My Firefox is set up to not close when the last tab is closed. When I click the Option button, it looks as though the Quickfox Notes tab is closed and this causes Firefox to exit. It shouldn't.
This bug happens on both my desktop and my laptop - exactly the same problem in the same circumstances.

Naming Consistency
i agree totaly with Khun
choose a name stick with it.. it took me forever to find it!
i use this app a lot so need it on more pc's abd for friends but not one personn has been able to find it untill i install it or them.
why? because you dont know what its called!

When I click on the toolbar button, it always opens in a new window instead a new tab, although I selected the latter in options. Except this, it is good. Not as good as Opera Notes though. :(

Nice and clean interface with the ability to open the plugin container in the same window, I wanted an auto-correct notepad for FireFox but apparently I've got more than that.

Sync does not work with Evernote! Evernote plugin is in QuickFox.
In what could be the problem?

Very helpful when it comes to taking notes and you don't have a paper and a pen at hand. Plus, better than Windows notepad as this saves automatically and organized into tabs for easy access later on.

about:config (be careful )
look for "extensions.InBasic.QuickFoxNotes.FontSize" - change it to the desired value.
I have it at 12 and the font-family to "Consolas"
Now i might not need a notepad at all :)

I love the way Opera handle Notes. It would be great to include a similar panel on Firefox.
With Firefox not offering it, this extension is the best I found for this purpose.
Although I can not find an option to make the font smaller...Maybe it needs to be added

Please add vertical tabs! That's about the only feature I would like to see. Everything else is pretty great. I especially like how I can open this extension in a tab and pin the tab.

Looks like QuickFox can't work for Evernote now.
I'm not sure which part is wrong, maybe Evernote company block the QuichFox, maybe QuichFox has some problem?

Thank you QuickFox notes for making my desk so organised. Without you my desk would have been so messy with Postits lying everywhere. You are a great revelation to cut my costs down by saving money that I spend on my stationery and who knows may be you can let my hands laid on a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab :)
