To have ftp within a browser is incredible. Thats where I use it most putting pictures and documents on the interne for others to view and use.

I have been using this add on for a long while now, and find it to be absolutely excellent. When updating to Firefox 3 RC2, the auto-updater advised that FireFTP was incompatible. I therefore updated to the latest developer version (0.98.20080604) , but still got the same message from the updater. I went ahead with the Firefox update in any case, and it works perfectly.

this addon is on my top5 addon list. It makes it very easy to access my different websites for quick updates.I just hope they hurry up with the ff3 version.

Would you consider a feature like CuteFTP has that reads an _index.txt file with comments and shows them next to their corresponding files?

Pessoal isto é inseguro!!
Baixe o FireFTP https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/downloads/file/28778/fireftp-0.97.2-fx.xpi
No ubuntu clique duas vezes no arquivo fireftp-0.97.2-fx.xpi, deve abrir seu conteúdo então edite o arquivo install.rdf e altere a linha "2.0.0*"
para 3.1
Agora abra o Firefox e vá em Arquivo, Abrir Arquivo "28778/fireftp-0.97.2-fx.xpi"
Pronto é só reiniciar o firefox.
Nota: Este procedimento pode ser usado com outros "Addons", mas muito cuidado.
Caso ocorra algum problema.
Abra o firefox através do comando: firefox-3.0 -safe-mode
