if this addon were still working, I'd give it 10 stars...
it WAS fabulous... has stopped working and I've
lost a lot of my sessions...
it's a ROYAL PITB to have to locate and load
past sessions manually...

This is by far, my most used extension.
Why the hell has the developer STILL not updated for FF 57? Release is in 2 days! Are there really not any plans to do this? If so, you are effectively torpedoing your own product. FF 57 is the first version of FF I have used in over 10 years that hasn't really really sucked. In fact, FF 57 is my dreams come true. It's stable, it's fast, it's sexy. It's everything. PLEASE UPDATE SOON!

This is a remarkable extensions, I've used it for years. A really good way to manage and categorize browsing sessions for various tasks. Ideal when you are in the thick of some research and something more pressing comes up, you can save the session and jump back in a week later as if the tabs had never been closed. You can also make a session "live" if you wish so as when you open such a session any changes will automatically be saved. Everything you'd expect to manage your saved sessions, rename sessions, group sessions, etc are all there. My mosted useful and used tools for Firefox.

Unfortunately using Firefox 57 means that Session Manager will not work. That is a killer for me because Sessions are a vital part of my browsing existence without which Firefox is useless to me. I have discovered that I cannot go backwards so I must find an alternative to Firefox. Considerable research has suggested that Waterfox (based on Firefox) will work with Session Manager so I downloaded it and gave it a try. It imports all data from Firefox including Sessions from Session Manager and it works very well indeed. Accordingly, I will now use Waterfox and will return to Firefox ONLY when/if Sessions Manager works with Firefox 57.
I find this a sad day and will gladly go back to Firefox IF Session Manager ever works :>(

Edit: I am enjoying continued use of this excellent add-on by using the Waterfox browser available from https://www.waterfoxproject.org/ in place of Firefox Quantum / v.57.

This extension contains almost my entire online life and it will not be the same without it. If it would keep it alive for Firefox 57 and would donate again and again. But I fear it is now too late for that. If necessary, I will switch to Waterfox as my main browser just to keep using this, and the Scrapbook extension (about which I could say the same thing). Whatever happens, I thank you very much, Michael, for every bit of love and work you have put into this. May it be returned to you in some way multiplied, both financial and otherwise.

Without this extension updated for FF57, there is no reason why you should not use another browser ... I will do so.
Same for TabMixPlus and Adblock Plus.
