Manually sort folders
This extension allows you to manually sort (order) your folders in the folder pane of Thunderbird or automatically sort them, but in a better way. This extension also allows you to re-order accounts in the folder pane.
Search Results Sort By Date Not Relevance

No Message Pane Sort
No Message Pane Sort prevents accidental resorting of the message pane by disabling mouse button clicks on the column headers, thus, locking the sorting order of your emails.
It is still possible to sort messages by ctrl-clicking the header.
QuickArchiver
Get things done and clean up your inbox! When you move an e-mail the first time, QuickArchiver remembers the destination folder and lets you move more e-mails with a single click. You can apply rules by sender, recipient, and subject.
ThreadKey
Strike the 'T' key to sort messages by thread, strike the 'U' key to sort them unthreaded again, just like the 'G' key switches to Grouped By Sort view.
Sender Address Columns

Search for Sender

SortRecipients

SortRecipients lets you alphabetically sort the recipients lists (To/Cc) when composing a message, simply by clicking the Sort button, which it adds to the Compose window toolbar.
AutoOrdered
Automatically organizes Inbox messages into a name-sorted-domain-hierarchy-tree.
Helps people with cluttered inboxes to automatically sort them all into folders (for each domain that has at least 2 msgs, a folder will be created, also subdomains).
