plus / minus does not work as expected...
the buttons would not be neccessary, if you implement those two ideas:

would you please display the bar with logarithmic size representing the time gap between emails? see windows partition manager for an example.

what about dynamically resizing the whole width so it fits the bar 100%

Nice addon. But some annoying bugs:
When moving a mail to other imap folders, the cache does not update.
Or with new mails (imap), too.
I have no pop3 mail accounts. Dont know if its working there.

This is a brilliant extension. I would give it five stars if the "Sent" folder would be scanned properly - please fix this.

Threadvis is a fantastic extension. Very usefull if you have plenty of folders with thousands of messages.

Any plans for an upgrade to TB 3 ?

This is an absolute must. Now I can have messages arranged by received date and yet be able to hop between replies without any effort.

Great add-on. Only one problem which makes me give it a 4-star rating:

It seems like the threading algorithm doesn't take messages from other folders into account. For example, in my inbox I have a lot of replies to emails I've sent out, and the visualization puts a grey square where my outgoing emails should be. The outgoing emails are in my "sent" folder but I guess ThreadVis doesn't see/consider that.

This extension works great out the box, does not slow down Thunderbird and provides an incredibly useful view of the thread, including ramifications. It is really stunning!

Still some work to be done on the cosmetics (buttons on the right pane), and the scrollbar who could be avoided and replaced by a nice "drag to move" zone. This is minor.

However, last update was 8 month ago and it does not support 3.0b2 not 3.0b3. In one word, I fear for the future. So many nice addons are unsupported in newer releases, this is sad.

Doesn't do anything. It might be incompatible with
the theme I'm using, Cutebird
(Graphite) 1.2.5.

Excellent! Proposal: it would be nice, if deleted messages or messages that are placed in certain folders, where removed from the tree structure. And the possibility to delete a structure with all the mails attached to it or just certain emails, you don't really need in it and then without leaving the structure. So your focus will go onto the previous or next message in this structure. Just a thought!

Excellent! No more browsing and searching in message archives and sent-folders. This is really really good work and it would be great if is would be part of the standard TB feature set!

How comes this addon is not yet in the showcase of TB addons? It's helps a lot to a no-memory-man as I am to find emails, remember who is involved, when the reply came etc. etc. Thanks to the author.

Perfect! At first sight I feared the complicate looking visualization. Needing a feature that helps me to check whether and which mail I've already answered I found this as an entirely satisfying tool! It even provides with further info, like time elapsed between to interrelated mails. Thanks a lot!

... and it is retrospective, ie. it works on emails received from prior to installation.
