Greatest add-on! I too cannot live without this. I often downgrade TB for this app to work. Quicktext became main reason to use TB. In the past, not enough updates and frustrated me. Hope it keeps updating in the future.

TB updated to 68 and the addon is not working anymore! Please update, I cannot live without Quicktext

Great tool, unfortunately in Spanish, since last TB update instead of acutes or ñ it displays a question symbol. Any idea on how to fix it?

LOVE and depend on this add-on, but no longer working with latest TB update 68.4.1. Will you be fixing this!!!??? Update: Thanks for the quick response John. Did as you directed and am all set. (How did I not know to do this. Ha) Will be making a contribution & thanks for such an invaluable add on!!

Probably my favorite feature on TBird! Works fine with new 68.3.1; Except I can no longer copy & paste to the Template Window. If someone has a work around please post

Use CTRL+C and CTRL-V to copy and paste. No idea why the context menu no longer works.

I use it daily for repeating text, and it is a great tool.
Even i do not use most of its functions, also thank you for fast updating to the last thunderbird versions!

Quicktext is the most useful add-on I use. I was heartbroken when it initially didn't work after yesterday's upgrade to 68.3. But today I restarted Thunderbird and it works again. Hooray.

VERY useful addon if you use the same blocks of text repeatedly!
I use the keyword shortcuts involuntarily now and without it I'd feel like one cut my fingers.

Few days ago there was some problem, but the last update fixed that and now it works again perfectly.
Really short response time!

Hi
A great Add on which unfortunately went wrong today.

TB 68.2.2 64 bit did not show the QuickText bar so I checked in the add on section.
It asked for an update. After version 2.7 was installed the bar with the groups is back but I can't enter any template.

Checked the forum -> remove and re install.
OK, did so, now it was version 2.8 - still not working. removed it again and installed 2.6 from a freshly downloaded file - still not working.
Any idea to solve this?
Windows 10 pro 64 bit

v2.8 should work again. Remove your current quicktext and restart Thunderbird a couple of times and then install quicktext 2.8 again directly from the AddOn Manager. If that does not work for you, contact me via email: john.bieling@gmx.de

Bonjour,

module ultra pratique mais la version 2.7 ne fonctionne pas.

Pour l'instant je suis revenue à la version 2.6 qui fonctionne très bien.

After the new 2.7 update this addon is no longer working. Please update ASAP! Very important addon!

I do try to release only working versions but sometimes other users have different languages/options set and sometimes the addon breaks only for other users and not for me (as in this case). But yes, I do hope that does not happen again.

Giving a low star rating is probably the worst thing you can do to motivate me to fix things. Something went wrong with v2.7 and I just removed it. Please install v2.6 again.

This the best Thunderbird Add-on in my opinion. 6 Stars out of 5 for me. It saves me a lot of time and pain.

An add-on that I use very fondly.
However, after the latest Thunderbird upgrade, this plugin no longer works.
