Found this while exporting passwords to be imported in 1password.
If the password contains signs such as %, $, & and things alike the exported will contain the decimal ASCII for that character, so % becomes %25
Overall, it's pretty good. I like this addon.

Please make it compatible with FF38 preferences displaying in tabs.

ребята!! Приложение работает! Просто, когда экспортируете пароли - нужно выбирать в Тип файла:
Экспортированные пароли (.csv)
Всё работает!

В версии Mozilla Firefox 37.0.2
Не возвращает сохранные пароли!
Пользуюсь этим дополнением 5 лет
Ошибка при чтении XML-файлаю Пароли не могут быть импортированы.
Такое уже бывало на неисправных Windows 7
А может Mozilla Firefox после свои обновлений ломает дополнение???
Просьба выложить на на сайте как вернуть пароли с неисправного файла!
Фаил открывается с помощью WordPad
пароли присутствуют в строчном варианте!
Жду решений!!!

im laufe der Zeit habe ich diverse Geräte wie W8-Tablet, Desktop-Computer, Laptop-15, Laptop-17 und Geschäftslaptop.
überall werden die Passwörter benutzt, ergänzt und auch verändert.
So kann alles zentral exportiert werden, im Tabellenkalkulationsprogramm können die doppelten Einträge entfernt werden und danach kann die aktualisierte Version wieder überall verteilt werden.

I was after some headache-free way to transfer all my FF passwords to KeePass. Following the tips from another comment here, I used the CSV format and it worked perfectly. Thanks!

nice tool respect for your work. 4 Stars :)
I tried to export my saved passwords from Firefox to import them in Keepas 2.28. First I tried XML which didn´t work in any way :( after a 1/2 h I tried CSV and this worked perfectly.
The tool is very needful!!! Who wants to copy his whole password List every paasword one by one? Yeah no one because it is wasted time :) That is why this tool is even great! :)

Great Add-on. As I get older I find I forget my passwords so I keep a list in my safe. The export feature is very helpful as it allows me to export as an CVS file I can print out. How ever I have found two caveats so far. If you use the uppercase 2 aka the at sign @ or the uppercase 7 aka the ampersand & in you password the add-on generates %26 and %25 respectively. for these characters in both the XML and CVS export. I can live with that but it does cause me to be very careful when creating password.

To import passwords simply go to addons/passwordexporter/options and import passwords as usual !

Grundsätzlich ein Super - Tool, aber leider wird kein Datum übernommen. so dass im KeePass nicht mehr unterschieden werden kann, welches die neueste Version ist. ( Ziel: Import aus diversen FF im zentralen KeePass zusammenführen)

Painless and faultless. FF28 uses a different method of storing passwords than later versions, so it's not just a simple matter of transferring a couple of files. Googled for a solution and found this. Works great!
