Please update the component, to be able to sort the folders within the account as desired.....

Ich hätte auch gerne ein Update von diesem tollen Addon.
Leider funktioniert das nicht "is no longer required as the ability to manually sort is available from setting | Accounts Setting. Just drag the account up /down the list to rearrange. " wie von Mick am 4. Januar geschrieben.
Eine Sortierung der Ordner innerhalb des Kontos ist immer automatisch nach Alphabet sortiert, vorgegeben von Thunderbird. Mit dem manually sort folder addon konnte man innerhalb des Kontos die Ordner so sortieren, wie man es wollte, also nicht alphabetisch.

I would also like an update of this very good addon.

The folders within the account are always automatically sorted alphabetically, as specified by Thunderbird. With the manually sort folder addon you could sort the folders within the account the way you wanted, not alphabetically.

from ver. 115 this plug-in is no longer required as the ability to manually sort is available from setting | Accounts Setting. Just drag the account up /down the list to rearrange. Thank you to Jonathan and Itagaki for there work for previous version we much appreciated it. :)

I would also like to see an update of this addon. I had used it before and now realized that it no longer works with 115.*.

Ich würde mich auch freuen wenn ein Update von diesem addon statfinden würde. ich hatte es früher schon einmal gebraucht und jetzt festgestellt das es unter 115.* nicht mehr funktioniert.

This was a great addon but it does not work for 115*. It has been more than 6 months and is yet to be updated. Please update asap. Thanks

I am glad to see this extension has not been abandoned, and I'm looking forward to it getting through what needs to be done to work with Thunderbird 115.

I changed to Betterbird... there this function is included! Just drag´n´drop.

That's a good thing. This feature was made possible by them backporting my patch (for Thunderbird 121) to Betterbird 115. Due to Thunderbird's slow release cycle and the need to fix other Thunderbitd bugs found while implementing this feature, it will be a few more weeks before Thunderbird with this feature is released.

Great addon.
Manually sort folders is not compatible with Thunderbird 115.5.2.
Please update as soon as possible.

Great addon, sad it doesn't work for new versions, BUT IS NOT NECESSARY ANYMORE. You can sort the folders by going to Settings -> Account Settings and dragging the accounts from the left panel.

It is not the reordering of folders, but the reordering of accounts. It has been possible since Thunderbird 91. However, the ability to sort folders is not yet available. It is currently under development.

E' veramente ottima per chi ha ..15 e passa email.
Spero veramente si aggiorni alle ultime versioni di Thunderbird.. perché è un problema ora che non è utilizzabile

Its a must have for everybody uses thunderbird and have lots of email accounts, I'm wondering why thunderbird doesn't have this feature built in.
Its a pity new thunderbird doesn't support this, I really don't like thunderbird without this addon.
I hope developers create a release for new thunderbird.

Ce module était très utile mais malheureusement il est incompatible avec les dernières versions de Thunderbird.
Merci d'avance pour la MAJ de ce module permettant de l'utiliser à nouveau

Before Thunderbird 115, this add-on was ideal for users with multiple accounts who wanted to easily override the default sort order of accounts in Thunderbird's folder pane. An update to restore this functionality would be greatly appreciated.

I ma trying the new version but the manual setting does not show the folders, and therefore i cannot move them.

First, Manually sort folders is awesome, work(ed) great and is critically needed. Thanks for this great addon!

2nd, currently, this addon is not working on TB115 because of continuing changes to Thunderbird. TB 115 added some account sorting, but not folder sorting.

3rd, they are discussing this issue on this addon's github page:

4th, if you support this incredible addon, I would suggest paying attention and be ready to participate in a campaign to convince Mozilla to support the Manually Sort Folders developers IF/WHEN they ask for it. Mozilla does listen...
