This is one of the most useful add-on we ever had, version 1.0 - which is already compatible with Firefox 3.5.x - is already out, please update it to the rest of the users. Thanks Mozilla.

Great addon, needs to be Firefox 3.5 compatible. Either that or Mozilla needs to integrate this feature right into Firefox, which wouldn't be a bad idea!

There isnt a more useful addon for firefox than AutoCopy. Just love this lil addon/extension.

1 suggestion though, the menu that comes up after selecting text on any web page, for the "paste to location bar" & "paste to search bar" should have a built-in "Go" or Enter functionality. Otherwise we have to manually click the "Go" arrow (there is a hack to have it visible all the times) which does not come up after the link is pasted in the location bar.

Just this lil fix & it will be 10/10 for this addon...currently its 9/10 :)

Was reluctant to upgrade to FF3 for want of this add-on. Now that the v1 works with FF3, I have. Without this add-on it would be like a fractured-hand for me.

Update on earlier comment – if you have problems with this in Firefox 3.5, check your settings.

The developer's home page has not updated the note about using the "Copy Plain Text extension". That does not work in FF3.5. If you had it enabled in Autocopy, disable it and you should get it to work again. You have to do this even if you uninstalled ""Copy Plain Text".

That is an immense relief for those of us who rely on Autocopy.

1.0 works perfectly with FF3.5, thank God! The 2 days I went without it were horrible!

Sadly, even the nbew version on the developer's web site does not work in Firefox 3.5.

That's a pity. This is one of life's essentials.

ver 1.0 is out, but is not work with recently 3.6 nightly builds.
and the "forum" link will goes to a "domain parking " site...sucks. is there any working similar add-on ?

for 3.5 please! very very very useful extension! It's funny how annoying I find using (command) C to copy after using this. I guess I'm spoiled now.

Great extension - but the comments are correct about the newest release and Firefox 3.5. I tracked it down and no matter what options you pick, it screws with the text boxes. As soon as that's fixed ...
