Hey! Really nice job! I do have upgraded your plugin with a bunch of things, like caching, and fixing that awful error that made thunderbird impossible to use with the icon previews enabled if you have a lot of emails.
I encourage you to upload the plugin to github again (since the homepage seems broken) and I can PR the changes! Or, if you don't mind, I can make a fork (well technically not a fork but upload my version to github myself!)
