I have not been able to get this add-on to work at all, to load my thunderbird contacts into gmail. There's a nice support site, but I have submitted multiple requests for help and have gotten no response. Perhaps the developer has dropped support for this add-on?

I apologize for not being able to help you more quickly. Please remember this is a hobby for me and something I do in my spare time; I am not paid for this. I haven't dropped support for gContactSync, but family and my job have to come first.
