Hi,i am happy to use thunderbird with SmartTemplate,but i find that i cant add my local date into reply.For example,if i write a new message or reply,i hope it have a date quote of writing the message,and this is automatically."%today%"or"teof today%" or else.

I think that your idea is very useful.
It will be supported in next version 0.4.4, and coming soon.
