Thank you so much for making this fix. I am a recent convert to Mac and this little issue with Home and End keys was really becoming a bother. I'm glad that you shared this. Apple support was not able to help me although they were very nice on the phone. Maybe they need to rethink how they program the keyboard. Thanks again.

Fn-L and Fn-R work like a charm! But a word of caution: it also changes other things. Ctrl-L replaces Option-L, easy to screw up. I'd prefer if it *only* handled home/end!

Although I had "fixed" my home and end keys to work the way they do in Windows... they wouldn't work that way when I was in firefox and gmail... and now they work the way I want them to. Awesome product, and the developer has my eternal gratitude for making it!!

thank you, thank you for fixing my Home/End keys. I migrated from Windows and the behavior in Gmail was simply crippling. Apple and/or the Firefox team should think of better usability here.

This extension didn't help me at all. It says that it allows use of control instead of command, but that is not true. I tried to press control+T for new tab, control+N for new window, control+R to refresh, etc. None of them worked. I still have to press command. Does not work as advertised.

Thank you! Thank you! Having just got my Mac Mini a few weeks ago, I have been struggling with how my Mac home/end/control keys behave. I even tried 3 different keyboards. ;-) I love this add-on.

Pros:
Since Firefox does not provide a native way to configure Keyboard Bindings, this extension is currently the best solution you can find to enable your Home/End keys and restore some broken functionality.

Cons:
No preference panel, so if you need to change something, you have to hack the extension/platformHTMLBindings.xml to do so.

Aside:
We still need a better API from Firefox side, having to hack platformHTMLBindings.xml sucks.

Perfect!!! This solves the problem with "page up/page down" on Firefox Mac: normally when editing large text doc, page up just scrolls the view - doesn't move insertion points. That sucks. Keyfixer FIXES it. Thank you!!!
