I just added it. After trying numerous download managers it seems to be the best one working for me.
"Segments" is its astonishing feature.

I've used it been a long time, why? It's perfectly support all my online activities, reducing time for collecting data. Really it make me out of frustrated.

this the most powerfull firefox add on for me, i can save more time each day by doing movies download or large file from internet. I can download faster then before even 100x faster.
no more boring waiting for download completed.

Let me put it this way about Down Them All: if Firefox is to bread, then Down Them All is to slicing and then to a toaster. It is fast, it is crucial.

Manages all downloads with many options. Great tool to download media from pages.
Pros:
Just one click to download images.
Just one click to save all media on the page.
Automatically resumes download on next start up.
Provides vast options to rename the existing file.
Options to pause, resume and cancel a download.
Shows time remaining, speed and bandwidth.
Cons:
Can start only 8 downloads simultaneously

Been using Firefox since it's first release and with all these years' DTA has been a MUST have add-on for all my PC browsers.

I had a router issue and i couldn't get a full download of anything. Once I installed this plugin I could get my downloads. If you have low or shoddy bandwidth, get this plugin.

I don't know why I keep using this add-on even though there are hundreds of external download manager out there that can be connected to Firefox through Flashgot. It has some features I still expected, like to set how many download parts in some multiple downloads running simultaneously to a number, not by a manual "one more part" or "one less part". But, yea that's a minor details. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with downthemall's integration with Firefox that sometimes I feel that downthemall's feature is part of the Firefox's capability already. This add on has helped me download many things from the web without much hassle. I like its "filter" feature, a feature that many download manager missed. I like how you can set the target saved filename using tags. And in conjunction with Flashgot, practically almost nothing downthemall can't download. It's a very recommended to download. This add-on really makes other browsers jealous, because currently this add-on only exists exclusively for Firefox. A real saver.

The thing about this is that you can go to a page, start the add-on, and then selectively download a single type of file by extension, name, or format - really, any number of combinations.
For instance, if you like music, and you go to the Internet Archive (dot org), you can get to the main dowload page for the article and select only the FLAC or SHN files.
Similarly, you can go to a page, and Download Themall! only the images - no matter what type - all with a couple of clicks.
And, since it runs in the background (in a separate window), you can go about your work knowing that your download is happening safely and quickly.
This tool should just be a part of the browser, it is that good.

This is the best add-on for managing your downloads. They are downloaded far faster using this & always done without any interruption. Everything works great & I use the 'OneClick' function all the time.
All in all, a superb Add-On - I highly recommend this!

Honestly, one of the main reasons why I still use Firefox instead of switching to Google Chrome or Internet Explorer is by DownThemAll! Words can not express how productive I am each day with it, in a world where "in the cloud" is the trend, but where everyone still has to have tons of bytes "on earth".
We've all visited a site filled with pictures, media, etc., all mixed and we've wondered how to "download them all" with almost no effort. Well, this add-on has turned the dream a reality. Just a couple a clicks on such a website and voilà !!
I live in a country where the speed of Internet connections is really low, and the use of this wonderful add-on has made it possible for me and my family to overcome the endless "timeout'ed" downloads we faced when we used the standard download tools.
Disadvantages: you might become addict to have a local copy of everything you find up on the Internet ;-)

Can't download anymore without this plugin, not that its not possible, but this plugin makes downloading not only fast but easy and manageable, another great thing about it is that you won't need to run another application for downloading. This plugin is great and I highly recommend it!

This add-on is absolutely amazing and useful. Not only does it speed up downloading, but it makes it possible to download things that might otherwise be difficult (such as large files that might timeout). The biggest thing that this helped me out with was downloading educational video files so I could put them on my iPod and listen to them away from the computer. Big props to the developers of this one!

Downloading small files is no big deal, but larger files require a more robust download manager and DownloadThemAll! offers just this. I am constantly downloading large files for various reasons such as new software, software updates, and Linux distros. Before I found this plugin, it was frustrating to get cutoff in the middle of a download or have a corrupted download that required me to start all over. DownloadThemAll! has the features I needed to make downloads more fault tolerant, easier to manage, and not to mention faster in some cases. This plugin is a mainstay for all my FireFox installs across all my computers.

I just realised now that I've been using DownThemAll for years without even acknowledging the developers for the work that has gone into this Addon!
I have seen this Add-on go from strength to strength. Its core features are still present: resume-downloads, one-click downloading, en-mass downloading using wildcard filters (e.g. *.pdf), or using a checkbox.
The real strength of this add-on is the user interface. It is very easy to use.
This is the first add-on I install when I install Firefox (well, after FlashBlock!). I highly recommend it to everyone!

Never have I encountered a browser add-on this powerful that I can't believe it is just less than a megabyte in size. It's a compact download manager/accelerator/mass downloader that integrates nicely with Firefox. Its Video Downloadhelper integration makes downloading media even easier and more convenient.
While it lacks certain advanced features of standalone download managers/accelerators, DownThemAll! still is comparable to those. it's simple installation and unobtrusiveness makes it more than enough for me.
It is surely an essential add-on to every Firefox install. :)
