Cette extension est un pilier parmi toutes celles de Firefox, il faut avouer qu'elle a des qualités indéniables d'efficacité, de simplicité d'utilisation. Malheureusement tout cela est fini puisque le développeur a annoncé qu'il ne ferait plus de mise à niveau et qu'il abandonne l'extension en raison du futur passage au format webextension qui fonctionnera à partir de Firefox 57. Que ce soit pour des raisons de manque de temps, de moyen, de connaissance technique ou de conception du net, personnellement, je m'en fiche. Je constate juste que l'une des meilleures extensions de Firefox est sans avenir sauf si un autre développeur la reprend. En attendant je fais comme l'actuel développeur je laisse tombé cette extension en attendant une autre éventuelle opportunité pour télécharger dans Firefox, tant pis. Les cimetières sont remplis de personne qui se croyaient indispensable.

I could not find any other download manager which supports "hash-check". Very,very useful a "Must have addon".

I have used this in the past with great success, but just installing it now I can get no success and have installed the Chrome equivlent.
My problem is that whatever I do it wants to RENAME everything. So I am downloading n001.dat, n001.hea and n002.dat... etc..... IT renames the FIRST FILE and then, before downloading the second it says, n_ something already exists, rename or skip?
I have seen from the forum people will think I am being an idiot, but I think it is a bug. There seems no way to NOT rename. Yes of course I have followed the various patronising advice that forum members dish out.
I expect an update will fix it at some stage.

quando si scaricano file di grosse dimensioni , stavo scaricando 4 gb, si ferma a 99%. Ho provato a mettere in pausa e riavviare ma nulla...consigli?

This used to be a good D/L manager, but all the file access errors is excessive. It is more likely to get the error than the file your trying to D/L. I have moved on from this to a better free manager.

Gets to 99% of a 2GB file, says file access error and starts from the beginnig. at least firefox doesn't destroy downloads. Don't use this garbage.

When enable schedule and restart FF addon is not working - in's installed but not working.
After disable schedule and restart, all is ok.

I loved this addon, but in the past 6 months or so, maybe half of the downloads fail and give me a "file access error".
No solutions so far. And the partial download disappears, so I have to restart all of the time. With big files, it's become a frustrating addon.
And the only reason I still use it is for the limiting of the download speed. IT IS BAFFLING that firefox does not have a simple way to limit the speed of the downloads. In my case, downloading something eats up all the speed and I can't do anything else in meantime. That's when I use downthemall, but now it fails half of the times.

After the FF57 update many useful add-ons became endangered species or extinct.
"Find a Replacement" makes me laugh for the DtA since there is no alternative and bad knock-offs already available everywhere for many years!
