Carlos, this is truly the best YT vid/audio downloader there is, handsdown. Been through so many of them, some are so-so, some are really good, some totally stink, but this is superb as far as I am concerned ;)

I also very much appreciate your effort in making it available for Pale Moon, as well as in the next update. Highly disappointed in Quantum and will not be using it due to the new WebExt and all the stuff/addons it has broken. Seems Mozilla wants to do nothing but copy Chrome/Google and much too much concerning privacy/customization has been sacrificed.

I advise others complaining about the latest version of this addon not working in FF57, to give Pale Moon or other Mozilla-based browsers a try, you won't be sorry.

The best YT video download add-on I can ever found, sad cant use on quantum :(

This is so huge!
I tried like 40 differents youtube downloader/converter during my life and i can tell you, you lose so much quality. Here you are able to download the audio in true quality (especially with opus format <3). Quality checked with an Acoustic Spectrum Analyser.
It's very easy to use, instant download, no redirection. Just perfect i recommend it!

I installed ffmpeg as advised, but am still unable to get 1080p videos. For some reason, they keep downsizing on completion. My workaround: opening the video in a player while still downloading. This way it's not downsized, but I'm left with a separate audio and video file, which I mux together in MKVToolnix, ending with an mkv file.

Doesnt take the name of the youtube video, just calls the videos youtube.mp4. Pretty annoying.

Works very well with an old version of YT, not perfectly with the new one. Waiting for the next version of this great add-on!

It's fantastic for downloading YouTube videos. Unfortunately, it doesn't work very well on other sites that use DASH streaming such as Vimeo. The use of open-source software like FFmpeg is also a nice touch with this extension versus some other video downloaders that claim to be free, yet they put QR codes on videos after muxing them unless you pay for the higher tiered version. Hopefully support for other websites can be added in the future.

The new version of youtube break the good working of the addon, it download the file but the filename is always Youtube.mp3

Not only that but the file name when saving says "Youtube" and NOT the vid itself, wich's a huge shame...

I know you guys said "We're recoding the complement" on your official site but... Please hurry ^^;;;;;

Add-on doesn't install properly. It appears in the list of add-ons but not on the toolbar where I can use it. Can anyone help??

This addon can download anything from youtube, is very easy to use and it offers many options, it is also fully compatible with palemoon.
