LOVE IT!! At my work, I get proxy authentication popups in an infinite loop (even after providing the correct info) whenever I visit superuser.com or stackexchange.com or programmers.stackexchange.com -- unless I manually disable Javascript. Each. And. Every. Time.... 5 stars for fixing one of my biggest FF annoyances! :)
And @Klone Ranger - I agree with Scree... 1-star is pretty harsh considering that it does an excellent job otherwise, and you *do* have an easy enough workaround. Still very good to know, so thanks for sharing :)

For your interest, it works with Status-4-Evar. You just need to customize the bar and add the YesScript icon.

Pretty mean rating 1 star because it doesn't remove your blocks on uninstall! So just install it again and do so, and uninstall again. heh
Still the best least-intrusive total script blocker using Firefox's own built-in way of blocking script on a site. Great for disabling script where you want for sites you visit often (take, e.g., ImageBam pages, to stop auto shrinking of images).

BEWARE - if you install this script, and add sites to the blacklist and then uninstall it later, the sites are STILL BLACKLISTED and WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY. You have to REMOVE ANYTHING YOU PUT IN THE BLACKLIST FILE, THEN UNINSTALL THE ADD-ON. Pretty big oversight in the script writing and code!

Can I remove script of a specific web page?
This is not a site domain.
It is a web page.
For example, "http://himado.in" is accepted, "http://himado.in/?mode=profile&user_no=50267" is rejected.

Brilliant add-on. A few sights like techradar & trustedreviews have been giving me hell. Once I installed this they loaded instantly, no 'script not responding' crap.

Does not reset blacklist items after uninstall. All blocked content is blocked forever - or until you install again, remove all sites, and uninstall... C*R*A*P!

for the benefit of that last poster and those reading it... this addon DOES NOT STOP YOUTUBE OR FLASH!!!! :) you need youtubestopper or flashblock....
In case you are not sure :) moving video uses FLASH.. some sites use script to do other things like monitor loading, adding speech bubbles, etc.. dunno why they have to make a simple thing so complex...
thiss addon only stops script by a very simple means - if you want to bother spending 30 mins configuring a more complete solution, go find a different one.. Myself I would rather spend the 30 secs that this one takes, when I just want to disable stupid page scripts.... :)

I'm editting this, and really wondering where my review went... (for some reason it wasn't appearing)
It's a nice idea, but it doesn't really do what I want. If I blacklist a site like Youtube, it stops the video from autoplaying, but it doesn't stop other websites that are set to autoplay embedded Youtube videos from autoplaying. It doesn't really do what I want if I blacklist a site and it still allows scripts from that site that are being run on another site (but are actually linked, coming from that site) perhaps this is a compatibility issue, as I first had NoScript, and am testing it along side NoScript. The idea of having a blacklist as an alternative to a whitelist (or even alongside it) was a nice idea, but it isn't working as well as I had hoped.

A great javascript that does what it says on the tin, and does it well. It allows granular blocking of javascript for sites that you declare. Lovely stuff.
I originally came across this when trying to find a way to turn off Google's autocomplete without a blanket ban of javascript in my browser.

Today I installed this add-on on my PC at my workplace , too.
I realized that add-on "Tool Bar Buttons 1.0" was formerly installed,
this YesScript icon was missing.
At such a time as this , temporarily disable Tool Bar Buttons and restart the Firefox.
Then YesScript icon will appear in the customize window.
Once YesScript icon is put on the appropriate place,
you may enable Tool Bar Buttons.

Where can I download a ready blocklist, so I do not have to build my own?
I was just thinking that blocking all tracking scripts (Like Google Analytics), the web browser would be faster?

Works better for my use than NoScript.
If you have lost the YesScript icon after updating FIreFox, you can get it back by clicking right button on empthy spot of menubar and search&drag&drop the right icon on bar.

Great extension, exactly what I wanted.
In reply to ionpopescu , my experience is that NoScript still breaks lots of pages even with "allow scripts globally", no matter what I try.

I was looking for this when i got tired of 'temporarily allow' in noscript, but found it too simplist.
later i discovered that the same functionality but with more comfort and usability (imagine you just HOVER the mouse over the noscript toolbar button and the menu appears!) can be achieved turning noscript into 'allow scripts globally' while feeling much safer.
in noscript you can also have a blacklist in effect even with "allow scripts globally". sorry to say this, this is not intended as publicity for noscript but a sincere subjective comparation.
