Mark Read on Reply
Assegnate 5 su 5 stelle
Echoing others: I can't believe this is not an in-built feature we can enable (or indeed that would be enabled by default).
Let me add also that for those fearing the "permissions" it requires (including ability to "read your email"), you can view the source of these extensions. This one is a few lines of very simple code, doing SOLELY the marking of the message as it's being opened (whether set to be opened in a tab or a window or even the "existing message window" option).
There is no "reading" of your emails at all, nor any call out to elsewhere nor storing anything anywhere (based on the current 0.2 version, as I look at it). As for such a low number of "users" indicated, I wonder if the count resets when a new version is made available.

The same points above are true as well of the extension this one is based on, "Mark Read on Reply" (as indicated in the readme), and I will go add this same sort of review/comment to that one.
