Thanks to Bill48 and c-vin for the tips getting Forecastfox working in FF4!

Works again like it should, I missed it immediately after upgrading to FF4.

I just wrote the previous review about not being able to get Forecastfox to work with Vista with FF4. I found the answer. I thought that maybe the menu bar wasn't enabled but it was. But then I noticed that there was another entry called "add on bar". I enabled it and Forecastfox appeared at the bottom. Didn't have to do that with XP and FF4.

To make it work in Firefox 4, go to View, then select Toolbars and make sure Add on Bar is checked.

Finally I can see that as "planned"! That's the reason for 3 stars (I'd give 5 for the goodness, but less than 1 for the more-than-5-days lost feature!)
C'mon, firefox 4 doesn't allow to use 0.9.10.2 anymore, so I have to choose whether:
1. stay with FF 3.6 until you upgrade, or
2. go to FF 4 and choose another Forecast add-on.
It's up to you...

On some points I have to agree with "van_d" below. Some years have gone by, since I last used this addon for Firefox, and back then (I don't know for how long) it was just called "Forecastfox", and some other icon for it. However, that's not important. What is important for me is that it's not really what I remember it for. I discovered that I have to tune the settings on a "web page" now, instead of having that handy option window that was before, it was so much better. What I can't understand is why I can't choose how I would like to tune Forecastfox. In the older version I could all the settings by heart. Now I actually have to think when I tune in the settings.

It was great until version 2.0 where all of the customizability, charm, and nifty tricks of version 0.9.12 were lost. Firefox 4 somehow forces you to upgrade to the latest version which means I will no longer be using it.

Nice new version of Forecastfox.
But please implement an option to enter own radar url.
For the moment this is the only reason why I not using this addon in my live system.

Make wind viewing correct, please for russian, because it's shows in english language, like WNW, no ЗCЗ.

& make language remembering' for http://spotlight.accuweather.com because it's not really comfortable to choose your language everytime u came into the site

For those of you who are unable to view Forecastfox in Firefox v.4.0, simply right click your menu bar and check "Add-on Bar".

I've used Forecast Fox in the past and the newer version has a lot more features which is great. Even small details like being able to change the icons is a nice touch. Overall it's very detailed.

The only thing missing is the ability to change the location and having the 5-day forecast hover like the current conditions do.

How can I add it in the Firefox 4 toolbar ?
I can't use this extension in FF 4, the icons simply doesn't show up.

I have been using Forecastfox l10n for years, until recently I have migrated to Fx4. I was reluctant to use AccuWeather.com and preferred Weather.com, but now I have no preference over the source. And AccuWeather.com also hosts a couple of low-level location which was not found in Weather.com.

Also thanks for the icon theme mechanism. The setting page is fast and responsive.

I'd love to see if there is a "hover-and-expand" icon design :) But thank you for the work so far :)

I loved Forecastfox. For the past 2 months, I believe, it has not reloaded / updated properly. I either have to restart Firefox, which I do not like to do, or use Options Reload, or go to the options page. BTW the options page being on the internet is very poor form. I have read that this problem exists in FF 4, & 3.6, & I run 3.5.16

Great program but with Firefox 4 the spinner sometimes starts and never stops unless the browser is restarted.

Stuck on reloading weather date. I have info from two day ago.
Back to old version, again.
You could add an option to remove the throbber.
