I like this add-on. It's very useful.
But the button for Session Manager has disappeared from the toolbar. And it isn't in the list of buttons when I click "Customize".
Version of Firefox is 41.0.2.

If I was stuck on a desert island and could only take one add-on with me, this would be it!
FF is my favorite browser, but each one has its warts. FF crashes from time to time. That's a simple fact. But Session Manager makes the "unbearable" merely "inconvenient". Session Manager remembers everything, every time, and for as long as you want it to. It gives you security and peace of mind. And COMPLETE control. The author has thought of everything. But if anything is missing in Session Manager, then its probably in Tabmix Plus, which is an add-on marriage made in heaven.
When the Firefox crash recovery feature "grew up", Session Manager is what resulted.
Having Session Manager in your add-ons means never having to say you're sorry!
Install it. Now.

(P.S. I don't write reviews. Mosaic was my first browser, and I've used every one between then and now. But this is the FIRST time I have ever written a review for a browser, add-on or anything of the like. I really, really do love Session Manager, or I wouldn't be "here")

One can never have enough backups. When it comes to browser sessions, this extension does just that: session backups. And it does it perfectly - I never lost a tab or session since I started using it.

Unfortunately it slows down the closing procedure of Firefox, when alot of Tabs are opened. And may or may not be reliable in restoring last opened tabs, incase of a crash.
Doesn't slow down Firefox, when the option saving session when closed is disabled.

This is one of my favorite most used add-on's - Although if 2 things could be added to it then it would be beyond perfect! 1- have the ability to save tabs from a single site or several selected sites from within a window. 2- have the ability to save current tab plus tabs to the left or right within a window as a session.

Love this app for years. Its 1 of the biggest reasons i still use firefox over chrome.

Is there any compatibility issue of your add on with FIrefox ver 39. Till last week it was working fine & perfectly. Since 2-3 days I have observed, under tool session manager some times it is visible & sometime not. I am helpless as actually I could not use your add on :(

Lo uso diariamente porque es la única manera en la cual puedo abrir múltiples pestañas simultaneamente, ya que solo carga 3 a la vez, lo cual es muy util para mi que tengo solo 2Mb de conexion

It's a very clean, stable and intuitive piece of software. Flawless, as far as I can say. And of course extremely useful, since it has all those features I needed. Works perfectly in Firefox 38.0.5, allowing detailed management of sessions and closed tabs. Never encountered one single issue. Thus, through extensive use of Session Manager, I can confirm the few negative reviews are actually quite groundless. Highly recommended

This addon is dead. It's been abandoned, and it no longer works. I've lost a lot of important tabs/sessions because of this thing. Time to find an alternative.

I had a horrendous time with this add-on and had to Refresh Firefox to even get "Restore my tabs and windows from last time" to work again, even after uninstalling it.
