Doesn't work for my site too. It connects to server but no folders and files displayed.
Please can you fix that?
Worked excellent on FF3. Now I have to use alternative FTP clients and I don't like that.

I couldn't imagine what it would be like now without this add-on. Actually that's not true, as became evident today. I just got my new workstation and needed to install Firefox and Add-ons, but there was a temporary problem at Mozilla with the download. I had to work all day without FireFTP, and it was like feeling my way around a room with a stick for hours while I worked from CMD. Obiously I could have downloaded someone else's FTP program, but I have before and only one other compares (this one still takes the cake).

Download is failing today - "connection failure on addons.mozilla.org. As I use this excellent add-on daily I guess my upgrade to FF4 was ill-timed.

If it's "not showing up" for you on Firefox 4, try this: Right-click in an empty area of a toolbar and choose "Customize...". In the list of items that comes up, scroll down to the bottom. You should see an icon for FireFTP. Drag this to one of the toolbars (I put it next to the "Home" icon. Click OK.

FireFTP works great for my web development work, since it's a full-featured FTP client that lives within the browser I have open anyway. One thing that's particularly cool is that it works well with Tab Groups in Firefox 4 (hit Ctrl-Shift-E). I can have multiple instances of FireFTP open and use Tab Groups to group each one with the pages I'm working on. Highly recommended!

Best and easiest FTP client I ever used.
The only downside to it is that it doesn't play nice with LastPass. LastPass disables the firefox password manager and therefore FireFTP can no longer store its passwords there.

Great, useful, convenient add on, but like said before, needs Firefox 4 support. I got so attached to this extension I begun thinking it was all ready part of Firefox.

FireFTP is an extension I depend on. If only FireFTP Beta for Firefox 4 (i.e., "developers FireFTP") worked, I would have moved on from FF 3.6+. As of FFb12 (2011-02-27) the FireFTP beta still suffers from bugs that make it unusable.

Side note: would be great if there was a way to migrate settings from FireFTP to FileZilla (and vice versa).

I was surprised there was a FTP client for FF, and this works brilliantly. Nice one. :)

Mime..and other users...
As always, this is a VERY good clearly solid add-on.

However we need to see even an "almost complete" Update that will work with Firefox 4 Beta 10 or greater soon ?

Pretty useful.
My only complain is that I can never see whether I'm uploading something or not... I just have to wait.
At least I can't see a proper bar... and no, I don't see anything in the "Queue" tab even after I hit "upload"

This is a wonderful add-on. I like it better then Transmit on mac. Am I that crazy? Maybe. Transmit is too flashy and gimmicky for my taste. And this is the only add-on holding me back from upgrading to FF4 beta. You know no pressure or anything to the creators.
