Work perfectly in thunderbird 52

Not needed anymore in latest tb releases. Both features of showing attachment sizes in message pane and compose window are natively supported now!!!

Doesn't work with 3.1.7 . There seems to be a delay between development and upgrade of TB.

I have used this extension with previous version of TB for ages and hate being without it now I have upgraded to TB 3.1. Unfortunately when I tried v0.0.9 of this attachment (from http://fux.zuhage.de/attachment_sizes/), it caused TB to spin at 100% CPU so I had to disable it, for now at least.

I hope you will be updating the Attachment Sizes program so it will work in the latest Thunderbird program.
Thank you very much.

Thank you very much Pastisman for the updated version. :)
Seeing the size of individual attachments is important and not the same as just looking at the email size. Also you cannot see your email size while composing.

@samsie : Email size yes, but not the size of each attachment.
I've put an update for TB3 here : https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/thunderbird/addon/75780 waiting for Frank DiLecce to get it if he wants to.

For the people complaining about this feature missing: go to the upper right corner, next to Subject, Sender and Date, left click on the box (over the scroll bar) and select Size to display. Voila, you have now a size column...

This TBird Add-On is one which I would take with me to a desert island. I really need it since my ISP limits the size of e-mail+attachments which can be sent. I sure hope that Frank or someone (Frank's listed web address is a 404-not found) else will massage the code. Thanks.

This feature should have been in Thunderbird long ago!

I have to post here because at:
http://fux.zuhage.de/attachment_sizes/
there is no way to contact Alexander Ihrig who seems (I don't understand German well) to have made this extension compatible with TB 3.x.
Tis is to say that I found a bug in the 0.0.9 version. That is: if you drag and drop an attachment from desktop or from any folder inside Thunderbird message to be sent everything is ok, BUT if you try to drag and drop an attachment from an already sent mail or from a rceeived mail to a new message, then you will succeed but NO SIZE size appears near to the attachment file name.

Please, make compatible version with TB 3.0.1 official and multilingual, Frank. Thanks a lot, for your good work.

You get Attachment Sizes 0.0.9 for TB 3 from here (credits go to Ano and hoster Fux):
http://fux.zuhage.de/attachment_sizes/
This version contains a german locale and of course english language.

>>>Looks like it works if you replace
Great. It's working now for received messages. But unfortunately not for attachments when one is writing a new message. Any ideas what should be changed to get that working?
