This is one of the best, most useful firefox add ons ever. It's also constantly being updated and improved with new features and options. This is the kind of thing that makes Firefox so worthwhile.
I really the think the people behind this project deserve user support for the sophisticated work put into this. Add to this the fact that half the proceeds they collect go to help in children in the Balkans. Hats off all around!!

Love it, except it doesn't work properly with servers running with active mode on. I've tried to connect to a server with AM, I turned Passive Mode off, but it keeps disconnecting. Very annoying.

Great addon, but one minor problem. The Show Hidden Files option in FireFTP doesn't show htaccess files on a remote FTP server. It does however work in FileZilla and shows me htaccess files remotely, but not on this. Could this be fixed?

Simple, and it works. The ability to save settings is a time-saver when switching computers.

Very good and easy to use. Much easier than CuteFTP and some others I've tried. I like that it is on the browser as well. Mega Ditto's.

Excellent program. One of the best I have ever used. I prefer this over my ws_ftp because it is in the browser instead of externally used.

FireFTP ist die für mich zur Zeit leichteste Möglichkeit, JETZT sogar über FIREFOX, Seiten per FTP zu laden! Bedienung: Leicht und übersichtlich. Dank an die Entwickler!

Is this by design??? I cannot download the queue and browse the remote site at the same time, only either or. It makes no sense, but it immediately browses when I cancel the queue. And I cannot add to the queue from a different dir,,, how wak is that? Also, you need to pause the queue, not just cancel it.

I found the solution to recover the panes to their original state. I had to restore down the windows again maximize it. It is fine now.

Edit to the previous comment: There are horizontal bars in the panes when they are minimized. But that's not what I am taking about.
I have maximized the panes far above my screen size and I can't get them back to a normal state. If I minimize them (close them), then I can't extend them anymore (or only to a very small size). Dragging a side has no effect. I am kind of lost here.

I am talking only about ONE thing, and it makes this app unusable.
The help file says there is a horizontal scrolling bar. I don't see one. There are vertical scrolling bars. Once a pane is over extended, I can't access it. I have a 15' display, not that big. I am very disappointed because this add-on is very handy. If someone has the solution, post on the thread. Thanks

I'm no FTP genius but even I can use this!
I have a small website and I used FireFTP to upload the whole site which it did with no problems at all unlike some FTP apps I have used!
I have also recommended FireFTP to a friend who has free web space but doesn't know how to access/use it.
Many thanks for a really good usable add-on.

This is an excellent little ftp client. As a web developer I find it really handy when I need to ftp into a site for those "quick" little changes without having to fire up a full ftp client app. Great job!

works perfectly, easy setup, zero learning curve if you ever done FTP. Supports everything you need for your normal FTP usage. Adding FireFTP to your toolbar and your FTP are only one click away all the time.
If you need to script your upload - you might want to add WinSCP to your toolkit also
