This extension has been invaluable to me over the years with regard to helping debug extension conflicts and to catalog my extensions when I've had to create a new profile because my original became corrupted.
It's so brilliant in its simplicity. I cannot fathom how and why Mozilla hasn't incorporated this functionality into FX's about:addon page at any time over the years this extension has existed.

Great Add-on. Does exactly what it says...I have Two suggestions:1. In your options dialogue please set save button caption as "Save Options". It makes people to mistakenly think that it saves the list in the destination folder2. Please add a screen shot about where to find the "Dump list" in the Add-ons window. It is little bit hard to find. Thanks a lot for this wonderful add-on.

Do I need to write anything else?

I must admid, that I more like the output of InfoLister (at least in BBCode):
(after manually bumping for FF 14 or higher)
- all important info matches in 1 line
- version numbers separated in black, instead mashed with the Add-ons link
- Themes, Plugins and Add-ons listed in same file.
- count of deactivated Add-ons are listet in header line
- bold header lines
Could this be made configurable?
Beside the cool button in the Add-ons-Manager, the only thing I see better:
- incompatibility is listet additionally
ATTENTION:
Causes BIG problem, when installed in parallel with InfoLister 0.10.4a3:
- Firefox 14.0.1 freezes after clicking "Settings" button of ELD in Add-ons-Manager.

Installed and ran it, but it doesn't seem to create any files. I've tried with all permutations of HTML, text, HTML, different drives, etc. but I click save, the window just closes. There's no notification, and no files appear to be created anywhere, either.
Is there some configuration setting I need to be aware of to make it work?

Firefox should have this functionality built in. I wish it would remember the boxes I checked the last time for what to include in the report, however.

Thanks for a great addon, it saves me lots of time, after I upgrade, and I no longer bother with addon 'send links'.
Before I found the Extension List Dumper (ELD), I emailed page links to addons, but now, when I find a notable addon I email an ELD to everyone with a note about the latest addition; this way friends and family can pick and choose, from a vetted list, and add-on at their own pace.
I have a locked-down (NoScript, Adblock, Better Privacy...) Firefox installed as my default browser, but I also use a few portable versions of Firefox, and before ELD, I would always find I had forgotten at least one addon, when I needed it. ELD makes it easy to quickly setup my browsers after an upgrade.
I always keep two dumps on my thumb drive, to keep people from stealing it. The first list is a complete list: it includes addons I only install when I need them (Firebug, Greasemonkey, etc.), and the second list: De Facto addon essentials, which I share with friends and family.
Thanks again, for the ELD.

Great add-on. Has always worked well. However, since last update, Plugins no longer show on the Options screen, only Extensions and Themes. However, the Dump List button still appears in the Plugins section (thank goodness).

Works great, thanks!

Great job, would be nice to be able to save the list as PDF as well, instead of having to print to a PDF-making program.

Great add-on but I have some feature requests:
option to dump add-on list in other language (I have Polish Firefox but I want to post my add-on list on English board)
option to dump Greasemonkey userscripts
option to dump Stylish userstyles
Cheers

I've found this extension to be a real time saver. I use to write down the extensions I've had, very time consuming, and I change them often experimenting with new ones. It's great to be able to easily print out a list of my current extensions and also a record of past extensions. Thanks for this extension!

Very useful add-on. Keeps an excellent record (digital or print) of all of your extensions used and the details of each.
You must open the add-ons window, and you will find the "Dump List" button at the top right, just next to the search box. Also, if you open the dropdown button at the left of the searchbox, the last option is "Dump List" again.

It looks good but no button or icon in FF 6.0.2. Am sure the developer is aware of this based on seeing other comments about it. I also emailed to the support email provided.

This is very useful add-on for me as I have loaded plenty add-on (somewhere 225 to 250) and so it is possible to keep track of all such add-on in case browser gets crashed and if any one has to reinstall add-on.Only one suggestion might be useful for troubleshooting purpose, that the dump list is produced in alphabetical order, instead if the choice is given to generate dump list in "date of installation" or "Alphabetical" order to save time. Also the choice of format for date like mmddyyyy or ddmmyyyy or dd/mm/yyyy ..... so on is given (When list is generated in csv format the spreadsheet software should be able to understand format)

there is no "Dump list" button in add-on manager in firefox 6 with 1.15.2
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
